This book is written in an easy to understand way, which made it easy to listen to. It's got a lot of information and shares research to help parents (or grandparents in my case) and the teen understand ADHD better. This is easily understood by teens, but is also very valuable for adults who are trying to help an ADHD child handle all of life's pressures and all the chaos in manageable ways. I think the tools learned in the book are invaluable, and can help people of any age with ADHD.

I had heard about shadow work and how helpful it could be, but never had a clear understanding of how to do the work until now.
The book helps you understand so much about the things that trigger you or the things you don't necessarily like about yourself and how to process these things in ways that are life-changing.
You will have plenty of guidance to help you along the way from journal prompts to questions to ask yourself when certain emotions come up during your day-to-day activities.
It's a guide that has practical applications you can use every day to help you embrace and love who you really are, and I strongly urge anyone who wants to learn to love every part of themselves to get the book!

If you enjoy history, this is a great book for you. It's written in an enjoyable way that is easy to digest. The explanations of wars and treaties are done in a way that is readily understood by anyone. There is just enough detail to keep the book interesting, without so much detail that it becomes boring or overwhelming. Once done with the book, you will have a good understanding of how Canada came to become the nation it is today. Great read!

This book has seriously powerful affirmations from the beginning to the end, but there's so much more to it!
The author explains the science behind affirmations, and how you can use them to best benefit you. There is a lot of thought provoking information about self confidence and how to boost your self confidence using affirmations. Each chapter is full of new, very helpful knowledge along with awesome new affirmations. I bookmarked so many spots to go back to and listen to again. The narrator even guides you through the affirmations in a meditative way that is extremely powerful.
The entire book was laid out in an easy to listen to way that made me want to go back and listen again!

This is honestly a brilliant way to study for the driving test! Listening made it seem so much less boring than studying the book.
There are over 350 questions and there is a companion pdf you can use to follow along when it comes to things like identifying signs.
The questions are multiple-choice and cover basically everything you need to know in order to pass the test.
The narrator did a great job too, so it was easy to listen to.
I highly recommend this alternative way to study and practice the driving test questions!

I had several "aha" moments while listening. This book does a very good job of explaining reasons you could be emotional eating, and helping you to figure out why you sabotage yourself and let your emotions take over.
It also gives several ideas and strategies to help you change your reaction to stressful situations from eating to other healthier choices.
By the end of the book I felt like I had a much better understanding of why I let my emotions control me, and I felt empowered to make changes the next time I feel out of control when it comes to food. There was definitely a mind shift by the end of the book.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who struggles with turning to food for comfort during stressful times.
