Story
The world outside has grown toxic, the view of it limited, talk of it forbidden. The remnants of humanity live underground in a single silo. But there are always those who hope, who dream. These are the dangerous people, the residents who infect others with their optimism. Their punishment is simple. They are given the very thing they want: They are allowed to go outside.

Excellent detail, suspense, and depth. Twists and turn were exciting and character introductions were smooth. Makes me want to watch the series.

MC Turns people he just met into the “rare” 1st gen. Simply because he’s a “good judge of character”. 😂 Book 1 was good, book 2 started drifting away, and book 3 is lost at sea…

Book languished along and is not heading in a good direction. Sadly, I will not purchase the next.

Worst BV Larson Book
Reviewed: 04-29-19
Too much “womanizing”. It’s almost like it was forced in. The episodes added nothing to story and detracted from it.
Perhaps the author needed to get some action because he seemed too focused on it.
Story is just a rehashed version of Larson’s other books. Nothing new here which is ok with me, but this one lacked the polish of ANY of his other books. It was like a random rumble through broken glass.

I thought I would discover something new in this book besides the typical mantras of why entrepreneurs are successful. Sadly, after over 2 hours into this book there was nothing drawing me to it. To those seeking more self esteem like myself, do the best you can from moment to moment. You can do it, but don't waste your money on this book.
