Loved the story so far and this volume continues it in spectacular fashion. Only wished they were longer or came out quicker. Finished this one in two days!

What an unfair cliffhanger lol… now we have to wait for the next book, which will not come nowhere near fast enough.

Just like the tower of accession, the book ends midway through this new journey, but this journey has been so much better than the tower.

If you’ve already made it this far, you’re in for a gem!

This series just gets better and better, one of the very few series that could possibly hold my attention for 8+ books. It has lost me and had its rough/boring spots on occasion. But let me tell you, if the ending of the 7th book got you excited to see the universe, powers and characters explored more… you will not be disappointed.

It’s impressive and refreshing to see the character growth, mostly in the powers. Not just quantifiable increases to powers but completely new abilities and fighting styles come and go.

My only issue with this and some of the other books. It feels like it ends all of a sudden, though this one ended with a good cliff hanger.

I’d prefer they extended the last book a few hours and took out the beginning of this one, that way they could end this trial completely by the end of this book. Not a huge issue but it makes for some odd pacing sometimes.
