I don't know if I can continue listening to this series of books if this reader continues with this version of Daniel's voice. Ugh!!!

Not as good as her older books

Mainly a force fed teaching situation. I read books for entertainment. If I want to learn something I will research the subject. I have no problem with narrator.

Super bad narrator
Reviewed: 07-01-19
I usually can listen to most narrators but this one was so bad it was all I could do to listen to the book for minutes at a time. I hope she does not talk like she reads. It was truly hard to listen to her inflections as she read.

Poor Recording
Reviewed: 10-02-17
Brilliance Audio did a very poor job with this recording. There is a lot of background noise. This book should be re-recorded and noise deleleted. Audible should not be selling this book as it is to their customer. It is disappointing.

What would have made On a Wicked Dawn better?
A plot, less sex....
What do you think your next listen will be?
I am off Stephanie Laurens for a while. This book turned me from S.L.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Simon Prebble?
He is ok, poor material.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from On a Wicked Dawn?
All sex scenes.
Any additional comments?
I think you get the picture.

Ended Abruptly

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, interesting story
What did you like best about this story?
A story about three generations of women
What about Amy McFadden’s performance did you like?
Pretty good narrator
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No
Any additional comments?
The book ended abruptly for such a long narrative. What happened to Patricia?
I had the feeling the author had issues with the Catholic Church because the only representatives of the church she presented were evil or greedy. When authors use their books to further their personal agendas whether religous or political, it tends to turn me off.
