Story
When Cricket Lopez, assistant to one of the most notorious celebrity stylists, revamps her old fashion Instagram account and turns it into a source for celebrity gossip on a drunken whim, she never thinks it will become anything. It's just a way to blow off steam after a terrible, terrible day at work where her nightmarish boss screams at her and blames her for some 18-year-old influencer's screw-up. But when the account grows overnight and, even wilder, when she starts getting gossip from fans and insiders —juicy gossip—she has to face facts: her Instagram is now famous. She is now famous.

So, when a call goes out for a team of women to deliver books as part of Eleanor Roosevelt’s new traveling library, Alice signs on enthusiastically. The leader, and soon Alice's greatest ally, is Margery, a smart-talking, self-sufficient woman who's never asked a man's permission for anything.

Not what I expected - but in the end good
Reviewed: 10-28-19
This was not what I was expecting after falling in love with Jojo Moyes after reading te Me before You series. It came together in the end, but if I were picking a book based in this era - I would definitely recommend the Glittering Court by Richelle Meade

I just finished listening to both the first Glittering Court and Midnight Jewel in less than 10 days. I couldn't stop listening, they were both fantastic. I love how the two stories intertwine and you see different perspectives. I'm dying to know what is in Tansin's letters - I'm assuming we will find out in book 3. I'm a relatively new Richelle Mead fan but her character development and imagination is unmatchable!! At times it's almost hard to believe it's fiction vs history. 5 stars!!!

Story
Has Anyone Seen My Pants? is a laugh-out-loud trip around America (and Mexico!) with Sarah as she braves crying in nail salons, mother-daughter road trips, Iowan casinos, and single-shaming resorts. From a fling-gone-wrong to friend breakups and a new romance, Sarah's signature wit and sharp observations take you on a journey at once so deviously funny and surprisingly compassionate that it might just steal your heart - not to mention your pants.

Love, love, love this book.
It felt like a big conversation with an awesome friend about life - true life, not exaggerated or fantasy (although Jon sounds like one) life but honest heartfelt life.
I'm so happy that Sarah narrated this book her voice is enjoyable to listen to and it matches perfectly with her humor. Sarah's true friends reminded me of my best friends and speak to her character - good people attract good people.
The stories made me laugh multiple times and cry a few too. It's really well written with no loose ends. I think I had goosebumps the whole chapter on Jon and how perfect you two are for each other.
I cant wait for her next book and hopefully an E! Reality show or special of what I can only imagine to be the most amazing wedding, please have Ross Mathews officiate!!

Chelsea does a great job narrating this and the stories are funny (if you like potty humor)., I listened to it in less than 2 days and by the end all I want to do is go on vacation with Chelsea Handler - she shouldn't pay for people to go on vacation with her we should pay to go with her! If you are looking for something serious or that you can listen to with kids in the car then skip this, but if you are looking for a laugh this is the book for you!
