Don't get me wrong I thought this was a great autobiography of our beloved American actor Tom Selleck, but I was disappointed he didn't add more; the book just abruptly ended with his Magnum years without delving into his Blue Blood years as well more of his recent personal life.

Jack Carr's protagonist James Reese is the New James Bond for the 21st century. All I can tell you without spoiling the plot is that Jack Carr is the new Ian Fleming for our time.

Dr. Pfeffer uncovers the hypocrisy in the leadership and business world. My writing partner and I have been writing about this very subject for over twenty years (see www.profitatanyprice.com), so the book was preaching to the choir for me.

The authors write a concise, compelling history of the U.S. presidents that's better than most history books today.

I felt the authors did great covering the 1983 Marine Corps Suicide Bombing from the viewpoint of the leaders down to the War fighters on the ground. Kudos and well worth listening to.

Outstanding Story that really hit home!

JD Vance wrote an excellent story about his life in the rust-belt of rural Ohio. I really identified with it as I too grew up in a poor family in Northern Minnesota's Iron Range. I didn't have it as bad as JD growing up, but it was close and I seen and experienced very similar things. Like JD, I joined the Navy to escape my situation and that provided a stepping stone to better opportunities for me. I went on to earn a bachelors and a masters degree and married a wonderful woman who also helped save me. (We now have two children and a grandchild.) Like JD, I too am a convert to Catholicism and that has helped save me as well. So the lesson here is that with hard work, determination, faith in a higher power, hope, love, and a bit of luck you too can change your circumstances for the better regardless of your life's circumstances.

Pretty much everything Tom Hanks touches turns to gold and this novel is no exception. He is a very talented person. I thoroughly enjoyed his novel about the intricacies of making a major motion picture.
