so much time spent on stats

It feels similar to system apocalypse by tao wong with a little less over the top romantic tension but worse mechanic discussion.
it's a book that gets completely destroyed by the amount of time spent going over stats, not their mechanics, just their numbers. ~5 minutes towards the end whenever a character goes over their character.
The system the setting uses is the best part of the book, but the manner with which characters talk about makes it a slog to learn anything.

If you don't mind Google translate novels this is an enjoyable one, but those sound effects are annoying.
Would recommend the webtoon instead.

The narrator takes away from the story. The story itself is ok, a cultivator who succeeded at almost everything and the one thing he didn't succeeded at he turns into a success.
Maybe if this book had a good editor things might be different but as is I would say skip it.

it's a fun book till the "climax" then all sense of balance flies out the window. if the listener likes "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" they might want to check this book out.

I enjoyed the first one but found this one a slog to get through. The primary conflict stems from the main character murdering people for their future actions. For someone trying to save humanity he doesn't spend any effort trying to redeem it.

The characters are fun, the writing is enjoyable, there's a lot of fun moments in it, but I feel this doesn't develop or impact the Star wars universe in any meaningful way.
