About this listen

In a world of increasing ideological diversity, kids are being challenged to think through their own beliefs at an early age. Questions like How can you believe the Bible is true?; Why can’t we just agree that love is love?; and Isn’t Christianity against diversity? can seem like roadblocks for kids who are following Jesus, as well as for those who might otherwise consider faith in Christ.

In this helpful audiobook — written both for Christian kids and for those who think Jesus is just a fairy tale character — Rebecca McLaughlin invites listeners to dig deep into hard questions for themselves and perhaps discover that the things that once looked like roadblocks to faith might actually be signposts.

Not For Teens Only

I liked immensely that I, a 77 year old man totally unschooled in Harry Potter still grasped (well enough) the examples RM was making of the stories. (I’m also looking forward to reading Harry Potter).
Young Lady, you have expressed our Faith so freshly & thoroughly I think my relationship with Christ Jesus will heretofore be deeper & richer. My heartfelt thanks for this gift!

Excellent.

After reading Confronting Christianity I knew this was going to be an excellent book for my kiddos. I just finished reading and now plan on going thru one chapter a week with my son. This is going to be a great discipleship resource for parents and their children.

Thank you Rebecca!

Thank you Rebecca McLaughlin for being so open, for sharing your story and your observations and research. I just finished the audible book and now am planning on sitting with my daughter (13) and listening to it together. This touches on so many points and is really relevant to today (6-2022)
I have already passed this on to my friends and even non believer adults to get a clear simple answer to some of their questions.
Really good and necessary book!
Ps: Could you translate this to French please??

Great Book!

I love the way Rebecca takes everything back to Scripture. I have been saying for years, these are not political issues, they are Biblical issues. Plan to use this book with my Youth Group students this fall.

Absolutely fabulous.

She writes similarly to Tim Keller but it is beautifully and simply perfect for teenagers. So thankful for this book. Looking forward to reading everything else she has written!

Very well done! Highly recommend.

I love when books are read by their authors. This book is thoughtful and very tactful. It addresses many uncomfortable or hard topics but it’s is don’t well and with great care. I definitely recommended for both young and old readers.
