Publisher's summary

We live in an age of skepticism. Our society places such faith in empirical reason, historical progress, and heartfelt emotion that it's easy to wonder: Why should anyone believe in Christianity? What role can faith and religion play in our modern lives?

In this thoughtful and inspiring new book, pastor and New York Times best-selling author Timothy Keller invites skeptics to consider that Christianity is more relevant now than ever. As human beings we cannot live without meaning, satisfaction, freedom, identity, justice, and hope. Christianity provides us with unsurpassed resources to meet these needs.

Written for both the ardent believer and the skeptic, Making Sense of God shines a light on the profound value and importance of Christianity in our lives.

One of Keller’s Best

I’ve read most of Keller’s books and I think this is one of my favorite. I liked this more than “Reason for God”.
Thought it was deeper.
I’m a big fan of this narrator too.

Finished - worth it!

My life got hectic in the middle of this book but I kept coming back to it to catch yet another nugget of truth. I bought the book to refer to chapters and passages I want to know deeply in my soul.
Chapter 9 The knowledge of God with sections on Moral Obligation was a chapter I kept returning to listen to as it points out great truths.
Another great “ah ha” moments for me was page 189 The Threat of Grace and the dynamics of grace and gratitude. Our desire to please the God who loves us enough to show us grace.
Took me awhile to get through it but the time was well spent.

Excellent presentation of “Making Sense of God”!

This is quite an experience that challenges and clarifies with I thought I knew of my beliefs of God and gave me more boldness to proclaim that a life with Jesus is the only way to contentment and peace.

An Excellent Reading Of Timothy Keller’s Apologetic Work

This Audible version of Making Sense of God helped bring the book to life. I thoroughly enjoyed having the audio as I read the paperback.
