This book is a delight. It is magical and whimsical. It was exactly what I needed to get me out of a reading slump. Definitely recommend it to any fan of these authors.

perfect rendition of classic children's story telling. a little dark and a little bloody but that's the Victorian Era for you! definitely not the pandering semi moral mind-numbing stuff today's society wants to push on my toddlers.

classic!

Story telling should be relished, no sped through. Right? The narrator speeds through this. annoyingly it's difficult to tell when one story ends& the next begins. I would have rated the narrator and value for money 0 apart from the fact that my son seemed to enjoy it. The content is good / classic and could comfortably be told over an hour, instead of the frenetic pace she's decided on.

Does the narrator take a breath?
