Ed Bacon
A spiritual guidebook to living life through love and connection, not fear and isolation, by a respected pastor and a frequent guest on Oprah's Soul Series.
Reverend Bacon believes that every person can live a full and creative life if they can learn to move through troubling emotions such as fear, anger, and sadness to find the beloved within themselves. Listeners will learn how insecurity can keep us from connecting with others, our loving self, and finding our own peace, joy, and creative power. 8 Habits of Love will show, through relatable stories, how to create a full, meaningful life by developing simple habits-stillness, truth, forgiveness, compassion, play, candor, generosity, and community-and by asking such important questions as: How do I know I'm living the life I should be? How do I forgive those who have hurt me? How do I talk candidly with difficult people? How do I best help others when they need it? And How do I let go of the past and move forward?

What did you love best about 8 Habits of Love?
I love that Ed Bacon gives examples of each habit and how you can implement them into your life. What was one of the most memorable moments of 8 Habits of Love?
The sections of forgiveness and candid conversations resonated deeply with me. I felt he explained the importance of learning these habits very well and allowed me to examine where I feel challenged.I would recommend this book to a friend.

Would you try another book from Ed Bacon and/or Ed Bacon?
NO more Ed Bacon books....If you like a book that seems to state lets just sit by camp file and love each other..and nobody is right and nobody is wrong..then this is the book for you. Almost halfway into the book and christ was nowhere to be found yet. Somehow this book is in Christian section..dont get it? Ed seems very new age to me.A Christian book where Christ is hard to find
