Desi Arnaz’s incredible life story - in his own words.

Wonderful book listening to the narator was like listening to Desi Arnaz himself . Recommend this book to anyone that wants to laugh and cry at the same time. Lucy And Desi loved each other and paid the price by working long hours and not spending time with the kids they always wanted.

I was born in 1954 so I grew up watching I Love ❤️ Lucy! I learned so much in this book about what those times in tv were like in all aspects. I thoroughly enjoyed Desi’s retelling of his life before Lucy and with Lucy!

I loved this book!

Having read Lucille Ball’s book, “Love Lucy” (which is wonderful), I wondered if I would like this book as much. I did! I learned so much about Desi’s early life and the hardships he overcame as well as his later life with Lucy and as the head of Desilu Productions. Juan Pablo Di Pace sounds just like Desi Arnaz and I kept picturing Desi sitting in my living room telling me his story. If you are an “I Love Lucy” fan, I would highly recommend you read this.

I thought this really gave insight into why he was the way he was. Getting a look at his early childhood and how it shaped who he was later in life. His accomplishments as a business man were impressive. To see how both Lucy and Desi threw themselves into their work and what drove them.

Enlightening

This isn’t all about Lucy and Desi’s stories are priceless information and education of ingenuity, determination, and a belief that it will happen. There is always a way! I love Desi!

You would never have read the book and gotten the same out of it. The accent and voice was perfect. The story was fascinating and covered child hood until the last kiss of Desi and Lucy. It left me wanting A Book II

You’d think Desi was in your living Room.
