What a lovely story, complete with a love story that is slow and steady. I loved the cover first, enjoyed the narration next, and then fell in love with the whole story.

Starting this series on this book, it seems to have a couple things from book one I have missed.
Girl growing up in poverty with an abusive father, gets a rich benefactor to send her to college, she comes back for Xmas.

Short novella set back in the past When it was new for a lady to attend college for educational purposes.

Audio was ok, story was ok. Definitely for a reader interested in period drama.
