'Every day is a perfect day to read this’ Shari Low

Amy Piper is in need of a bit of luck. She’s lost her confidence, her mojo and her way.

But one thing she has never lost is her total love for her thirteen-year-old son Joey, and for his sake she knows it’s time for a change. But first she has to be brave enough to leave the house…

What she needs are friends and an adventure. And when she joins a running group of women who call themselves The Larks, she finds both. Not to mention their inspiring (and rather handsome) coach, Nathan.

The trick to changing your life, is to take it one day at a time. Now, with every ounce of strength she has left, Amy is determined to make just one day special - for herself and for Joey. And who knows, today might be the day that changes everything…

Uplifting, funny and unforgettable, Number One bestselling author Beth Moran returns with a joyous tale of friendship, love and facing your fears.

This book was previously published as How Not to be a Loser.

Loved it- clean and easy to listen to

This was just what I needed after tearing the meniscus in my knee. I wanted to quit but did the shots, PT, and gym making myself move forwards. The positive tone of the book made me want to keep going. I’ve got a long way to go but without any spoilers, I’ll remember

Insightful

I love the depth and variety of personalities that the author brings alive. I also love the real and messy way her stories flow just like real life.

I’m really particular about the readers that I listen to and this one just didn’t do it for me. She’s good she does voices really well done performance, but just not my cup of tea..

DEFINITELY NOT A LOSER STORY!

This book kept me engaged from minute one. The story had touching moments, funny moments and serious moments. Dealing with mental health, especially anxiety disorder, can be tricky in the writing of a fiction story, but Beth Moran tackled it with grace and dignity and kept it real. I cheered for Amy from page one and with every achievement she made, rooted her on! It also showed how friends are more important in one’s life than we realize. We could all use a squad like Amy’s!

Amazing story

Formally titled "How Not To Be A Loser" this is the story of Amy Piper -- former world champion swimmer and Olympic hopeful -- now a single mom struggling with agoraphobia Moran is an exceptional author who tackles tough topics with wit and humor. I have loved all of her books I've read/listened to. I often find myself just laughing out loud, sometimes crying, and always finishing with a smile on my face. This was a wonderful story.

Happy I found Beth Moran

Looking for something free and light last December I found Christmas Every Day by Beth Moran and loved it so much I've purchased four more of her books since then. These are easy to read and/or listen to, but they are not cheesy or silly. The characters are realistic and relatable and the love stories strike just the right note.

A delightful book of friendship

I struggled to get into the book in the first few chapters and then I started to love it.

At times it cut rather close to home, especially after the last 2 years of lockdowns and the accompanying anxiety of leaving the house.

I laughed and cried my way through this book. By the end I was rooting out loudly for Amy and wept big ugly tears through the final chapters.
