One of us is lying.
When Londoner Vikki receives an invitation from Niall Blake to join him for a weekend at his family home in a remote part of Ireland, she hopes it will be the perfect opportunity to turn their friendship into something more significant.
But Niall has a different reason for his proposition. As the weekend takes a sinister turn and Vikki discovers more about Niall, his estranged older brother Alex and his over-compensating sister Lainey, it becomes clear that the family harbours a long-buried secret. But who is out to destroy them? Could it be one of their own? And why did Niall invite Vikki along for the weekend?

The premise is unique, the family at the center of the story is endlessly intriguing.
The characters are all complete, thoroughly well developed, and relatable although each has their own flaws, fears, and characteristics that make them relatable.
The setting is utterly enveloping. Totally atmospheric, I didn’t want to leave this place and I didn’t want this story to end.
Exquisite writing, there is no detail left unexplained, not holes in the plot, no promises left unkept.
And the entire thing was mysterious, beautiful, and suspenseful.
I truly couldn’t put it down.
Zoe Miller is such an extraordinary talent.
Also, the narration is truly special.
There are so many different accents, ages, there were so many things that Shelly Atkinson had to truly master in order to deliver this incredible performance.
I will be listening to this book again at some point.
It was an utter delight.
A Highly recommended and surprisingly beautiful, creepy, lovely read.
