About this listen

How much pain are you willing to endure for someone you love?

Bold, charismatic, and charming Blu Henderson wears a fake smile every day, pushing through life because she has to—not because she wants to.

Quiet, introverted, and mysterious Jace Boland catches her eye the second she sees him. After that, it’s game over—not just for Blu, but for Jace as well.

Drawn together by inexplicable attraction, a whirlwind connection forms that persists and torments, mends and breaks, and forces both Blu and Jace to confront the traumas of their past while trying to make their relationship work.

A Hue of Blu explores how two broken hearts can find comfort in tragic losses, how two broken souls can find peace in pain, and how loving yourself may be the only way to love another…

No matter the consequence.

Content warnings: this audiobook contains depictions and descriptions of alcoholism, toxic relationships, mental health (specifically depression and BPD), body image, self-harm, mentions of OW/OM, and loss of a parent.

I loved this it was a slow.read but it hit to close to home which i loved and i needed to hear again. As women i think we all have had a Jace in our life that took and took and took but never returned any of it back and we have and gave hoping we would get a slight of love . I loved the growth that Blu did it was hard and breaking but she grew in ways she never thought she would she saw it wasn't on her to carry the faults of the people that couldn't love her and that she was worth of love but most importantly love unconditionally beautiful love and love herself .

Amazing, my dislikes would cloud the mind of those getting invested. However, over all amazing!

As much as I loved the alternate ending, the original ending was absolutely wonderful and I honestly could see myself in blues situation. Over all a good book to read

this really resonated with me because it was so similar to my life but I definitely didn't see it as sad. I preferred the original ending

reflection of my life

I loved the character development of the characters despite their flaws. Everyone is different and that is not always a bad thing. Issues can be resolved and wounds can be healed, not instantly but in time.
