About this listen

A stand-alone Christmas story set in the enchanting village of Loren Brae is the perfect addition to this Wall Street Journal bestselling series.

Legend has it that wishes made at the standing stones during Christmas come true. As if.

Maisie Barron is over it. A small-town girl with big dreams, her frustrations lead her to make a silly wish at the standing stones outside Loren Brae. Little does she know, the magick found there will transform her wish into a catastrophic event that threatens the upcoming Christmas Book Festival.

Weston Smith needs a break. Burnt out from his tenure-track professorship, he decides that a holiday in little Loren Brae, Scotland, will be the perfect escape he needs to recharge his batteries. The last thing he expects is to find the woman he's been waiting his whole life for. With the over-zealous help of a gaggle of elderly book club members, West finds himself on a real-life mission to woo the woman of his dreams.

There's more than magic at play when sparks ignite. Snowed in, with an undeniable attraction brewing, only West and Maisie can save Loren Brae from the snowstorm of the century.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Performed by Kourtney Cooper, Danny Gavigan, Ella Lynch, Danny Montooth, Rayner Gabriel, Nathaniel Priestley, Laura C. Harris, Helen Day, Sheree Wichard, Karenna Foley, Stewart Crank, John Kielty, Lise Bruneau, Julie Hoverson, Nora Achrati, Yasmin Tuazon, Stephon Walker, Chris Davenport, Drew Kopas, and Nicola Roy.

If you’re looking for a cozy, feel-good read that’s packed with romance, holiday spirit, and a dash of Scottish charm, *A Kilt for Christmas* is it! Tricia O’Malley has once again delivered a story that warms your heart and makes you believe in the magic of love (and maybe kilts too).

The story is set in a breathtaking Scottish village, and the wintry backdrop gives the perfect holiday vibes. The characters are what really make this book shine, though. The chemistry between the leads is absolutely electric, and I couldn’t help but root for them. There’s plenty of heart, humor, and some unexpected twists that kept me hooked until the very end.

I love the Graphic Audio version with a cast of voice actors for each different character!! It really brings the story to life on your mind.

This book has everything I love in a holiday romance—swoony moments, laugh-out-loud scenes, and a love story that feels real and magical all at once. It’s the kind of book you want to curl up with by the fire, preferably with a hot cocoa in hand.

If you’re in the mood for a holiday escape that’ll leave you smiling and dreaming of Scotland, do yourself a favor and pick up *A Kilt for Christmas*! Tricia O’Malley has a gift for creating stories that feel like a warm hug.

While I wasn't crazy about some of the background noises in the recording, I absolutely love the full cast feel of this story. It truly makes this a fun listen. My husband, who has issues determining who is speaking in a normal audiobook, only asked me two clarification questions on characters when normally he is maddening with the amount of questions he asks he.

You need to listen to Book 1 and 2 first before going forward. There are too many critical points to understand for it to make sense.

Would I recommend this book? Already have. 4 stars and 1 spice.

Absolutely adorable
