About this listen

He was fire, and she was ice.

He was the coffee shop barista, and she was the neonatal surgeon.

He knew the moment he laid eyes on her she was the one he wanted to spend forever with. She, on the other hand, wasn’t so sure he was her forever.

Promise Price mapped out her entire life. She graduated high school at fifteen, graduated college at eighteen, and graduated medical school at twenty-two. She was an overachiever and wanted to be the best surgeon in the state of Texas. The only thing she cared about was her career … Until she met him.

Nathan Bowers was as cool as a cucumber. He was the middle child of three boys and always went with the flow. He didn’t expect anything from anyone because it saved him the disappointment of being let down.

When the two meet, coffee isn’t the only thing hot between them. Sparks fly and emotions run rampant as they navigate through life with seemingly nothing in common. Will their opposites attract to create a beautiful connection, or will their sweet romance run stale?

The story is cute, not amazing but not bad. It’s an easy listen. I usually like Charlie L. Wood’s narration, but this attempt at a southern accent is not working. Even speeding it up her attempted southern drawl is unbearably slow.

Cute story, but this narration 😳

Love the story sooo much however the female narrator was painful to listen too unless I sped up the pace but then the male narrator was too fast but I pushed through because I love their story

Love love love the story….

I loved Promise and Nate story. It was very sweet. I loved their chemistry. The narrators were new to me. I enjoyed them. Can’t wait to read the other brothers story.

Cute 🥰

The story is beautiful and I loved it but the female narrator sounded like it was the 1930s in the back wood country of Mississippi. It was slow and dragging, I stopped listening and continued to read instead

Female narrator sucks

I enjoyed this story but I felt like it was short. it didn't have the normal dramatic flair but overall it was cute. i really wanted to know what happen to the ball player. I will be patiently waiting on the other installments

Awaited thinking this title was going to get good it never did and it ended boring. The whole book was pretty boring. If you asked me! The lovemaking scenes we’re pretty noteworthy definitely had me crossing my legs, but overall this book was very boring and the female narrator voice was very dry. Sometimes making me want to turn the book off. if you like a dry love story then this book is for you. I like juicy and exciting and drama filled love stories. Definitely wouldn’t recommend a credit on this if you love juicy this is just a regular love story

Waited but never got good
