About this listen

The Esulon and Vatos kingdoms are in an uproar as word spreads of a powerful mage capable of unfathomable feats. But when the elf and human kingdoms send their armies to apprehend the young wizard Nate, threatening his family’s safety, they get more than they anticipated.

Hell-bent on revenge, Nate, with his companions in tow, is embroiled in quest after quest to eradicate enemies and profit from their loot, taking him on a cross-world trek. However, as Nate embarks on a quest that takes him to desolate lands, he discovers that he is facing far more sinister forces than he had anticipated.

In this second book of the Sage’s Legacy, we see Nate’s power increase, but will it be enough to save not only those who are dearest to him but also the future of their world?

started out strong, then faded at the end

The second volume in the series started out really well. I really enjoyed it and thought I would enjoy the entire book. However, the last 10 chapters turned out to be a slog. I’m not sure if the author just couldn’t come up with any good ideas or if he was trying to create some great over arching story at the end, but it really turned into just a boring, uninteresting ending. This is really sad since the first 3/4 of the book was really good.

The narration was excellent.

the pauses in the male voice actors words, to long.

it was a decent book 2, but the male voice actors words come out feeling like broken sentences.

I was hooked from the beginning of the book. Pacing was pretty good. I enjoyed this adventure! Looking forward to book 3!

Good, but…

Chapters were mis-numbered by 2, the story picked up/started in an odd place, I have come to expect more form this author and studio, still one of my favorite authors & will continue to read & listen!

Good story, terrible narrating

Male voice actor is not easy to listen to. I've already read the Kindle version so I'm going to pass on listening to this one. I like supporting this author but I wish I could get my money back.

An action packed story continues with part two! Now I want part one that is not available! Great series!

Story grabs you right from page one! So much going on and you have to wonder “How overpowered can this guy get?”" Dead man teaching! Everyone needs a dead wizard to power them up!

The ending sequence

The ending is so bad im sorry but you don’t have to make the MC that stupid to have a story.

annoying, annoying, annoying

I love an OPMC as much as anyone, and I like the bones of this story. every single book that I have dared read/listen to that are similar all have the same thing in common, is that the the mc gets involved with women the story just gets annoying and tedious to get through. I have skipped through just about all the scenes where the women are involved...doesn't leave much. look I'm not against them but why write their characters like that, all of these women feels entitled to something of the mc all of the tell him not ask. how can a badass become such a p--sy when it comes to the women. they come off as annoying and needy. if I were the bad guys I'd use women to achieve my objective, he doesn't have a counter for them. the love interest are annoying and distracting. I didn't finish.

Frustrating.

I didn’t really enjoy this story. It was interesting at times but for me the male MC narration was grating on my nerves. Additionally, I don’t know why OP’d main characters can’t seem to keep their mouth shut when it comes to keeping a secret about their talents. Since I am annoyed by this story, i will keep venting because these books are not even fun anymore. And for the love of all that is holy in the world, please tell me why the so called romantic partners are so f$&@ing annoying. It’s almost like they are all suffering from serious personality disorder. With that said, I will say that I liked the premise in the beginning(book1). But as always with these stories of late, the moment a female shows interest, the story falls apart.
