About this listen

Her choice is to serve or die. In the aftermath of shattered innocence, will the hunt for her magic claim her last breath?

Zerina Redfearn is naïve to the world's cruelty. So when she and her sisters are dragged from their home and put on trial for witchcraft, she’s horrified to be trapped between being enslaved in the king’s forces or execution. But after witnessing her siblings' cruel deaths, she unleashes her powers for the first time and makes her escape.

Joining two refugees in fleeing to the perilous ocean with enemy ships in hot pursuit, Zerina wields her gifts against deadly threats even though each use torments her body. And as she pays an agonizing price by aging prematurely, she fears she won’t reach the cure seen in a vision before she perishes.

Can Zerina turn the tide on a crippling future?

A Sea of Sorrow and Scorn is the gripping second book in the Tales of Levanthria fantasy-retelling series. If you like dangerous quests, good girls gone badass, and relentless action, then you’ll love A.P. Beswick’s windswept adventure.

Great story

The male voice was superb, the female voice needs more time to develop her skills.

Loved this one too! The Bond of Siblings was THE hook for me.

If you liked A Forest of Vanity and Valour OR you're a fan of Sibling Stories, Blooming Romance or Seafairing Adventures...than this one is for you!

Great short story to listen to

I love how everything is connecting, and getting interwoven! I wish the stories were a tad longer but other than that it’s great.

Good story

I enjoyed the book. The author is good with painting the picture. He also focuses a lot on character development.
it had two narrators for the two main characters. that was neat.

Well done!

I hope we see more adventures of Esara’s Revenge - it ended somewhat abruptly but that’s only because you enjoy the characters so much at that point.

Great read.

New characters are introduced as our author continues his re-envisioning of the “Robin Hood” story. I am excited to see how he intends to blend all these together in the third book. I cannot wait for the third installment to be available in audio.
