About this listen

My uncle may be the boss of the Chicago Outfit, but there’s one man even he fears: Giovanni Guerra, who I was just sold to—as his wife—for an alliance...for power.

The boss of the New York family is beautiful and deadly, and he stokes a fire in me that might destroy us both. He may believe he was sold a submissive mafia princess, but Giovanni Guerra will find I’m no one’s pawn.

The only vow I make is one of lust and fury.

A Vow of Lust and Fury is book one of the Tainted Vows duet, and is part of the Underworld Kings universe, a multi-author series filled with mafia families waging war, violence, forced marriages, angst, love, and everything in-between. It has a happy-for-now ending.

A Vow of Lust and Fury

My first book🎧by LP Lovell and it was so good🫦I wish the second book was available now! I hate cliffhangers🙄but I will make an exception this one time. It has everything you want in a good book🎧 It has intrigue, lust, enemies to lovers vibe, betrayal, revenge, love and so much more! The narration was on point those two(Frost & Riley)were perfect for this book🎧 Is it worth the credit? Yes “Piccola” it’s so worth it❣️

4 STARS

Dual Narration
5 plus stars Gideon Frost is a favorite and Quinn Riley is now on my top narrator list.

This story was originally part of the Underworld Kings series. Arranged marriage, back stabbing, alliances and an anti hero that is a villain for her. Plenty of push and pull and I would consider it a slow burn.

⭐️ EXCELLENT, EXCITING PLOT.. & A BRUTAL CLIFFY ⭐️

I knew.. knew.. knew I shouldn’t start this way too addictive Duet until the second book was out but my weakness is Mafia.. especially their arranged marriages.. so how could I possibly resist this very tempting delight? Well I didn’t 🙇🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. But, now I’m paying for it because I’m des😩per😜ate for the second part of Gio and Emilia’s rollercoaster journey that, one by one, ticked off all the things I love about this grey and intoxicating world.

The ruthless Don of New York wanted an alliance but, shrugs and meh, he didn’t care he’d have to marry to get it.. and he was just expecting a boring submissive wife.. yawn. However, to this dangerous alpha, when his ‘chosen’ ran before they’d even met, it was a tempting red rag to his darkness, it awakened a possessive beast and it flamed a desire to claim. Emilia’s life’s been Hell.. it’s only ever been about being a duty, threats, sacrifice. However, she’s a very very angry unwilling pawn for powerful men to move in ruthless world. She’s been told there’s no way out.. but this lamb isn’t going to just meekly sacrifice herself, her beliefs and just comply with what’s expected. She won’t end up like her dead sacrificial sister who was physical and mentally abused by her Mafia arranged husband. And one day she’ll avenge her. Gio soon becomes obsessed with his fierce, feisty, spitfire of a fiancé.. but he won't take what isn’t offered. Emilia becomes a strong lioness in a push n pull relationship.. but she won’t backdown or give in until he deserves her.. until all their battle lines have been crossed.. and, until a fateful gunshot cements their future.

Worth a credit? Yes, and this is my first contact with this author who expertly planned and deliciously paced her plot-line and manoeuvred her characters perfectly. The narration by Gideon and Quinn was awesome. They fit the characters perfectly and made this exciting enemies-to-lovers Mafia romance a five star listen. Together they brought its tantilizing characters, its threatening violent world, its sizzling chemistry and heat, its dirty talking anti-hero, its feisty heroine and its tentative heavily won victories to life. And I’m really really looking forward to joining them all again in March🤞.

A Vow of Lust and Fury

This was a really good book. Emelia's uncle was horrible in how he arranged for her to marry Gio. He is sneaky and should not be trusted. If she refused, she would be given to someone much worse who caused her sister's death. Gio and Emelia are slowly getting closer but, at times, she could be so annoying. This book is slow burn. At times, both main characters were not likeable. The ending was well deserved. Gideon Frost and Quinn Riley did a great job with the narration

Excellent Story

Loved this book, well written, not cheesy, MFC is pretty defiant, I wanted to shake her a few times. I can’t stand a MFC that is whinny, feels sorry for herself, or weak, This one is almost to defiant. It’s hard to find that perfect balance. Narration is superb!
