About this listen

I walked in on my fiancé sleeping with my maid of honor on the day of our wedding.
I did what anyone would do: threw my ring in his face and found somewhere quiet to cry.

But then something else happened.
Something unexpected.

In that quiet place…
Someone found me.

Anton Stepanov is like something out of a dream.
Scratch that: out of a nightmare.
He’s rich as sin, arrogant as heck, and way too handsome for his own good.
He’s also way too handsome for mine.

So when he offers me his hand and a way out of the worst day of my life, I do the only thing I can do: I say yes.

That’s how I ended up on his yacht.
That’s how I ended up in his bed.
That’s how I ended up pregnant with his baby.

Satin Sinner is the first book in the Stepanov Bratva duet. Anton and Jessa’s story concludes in the second book, Satin Princess.

ugly

The main character Jess was to dumb. why was she even going to marry as she didn't love the first. The plot is not that wall thought out. I will finish the second just to see if I guess it right.

The cell phone and I don’t like when characters say they have to process

I think Andros could have traced his phone to Chris’s home, unless it was wrapped in foil or sitting in a microwave. I thought Yuri was bitter. Jesse, just couldn’t admit she liked the bad boys. All good and going to get started on the final book.

The whole story

Need to read or listen to keeps you guessing who is who and who is trying to break Jess’s and Anton up

just stuck with it

overall, I loved it... The first couple of chapters, in my opinion needed a bit more to the storyline.. the heroine just seem dumb and impulsive regardless of what happened.... the plot is great and I will be listening to book two as it ends with a cliffhanger... I don't really like Jessa sometimes during this book.... great storyline!

just meh

This wasnt what I was expecting, the story really just drags along. There are a few great scenes but over all Jessa was just not very bright.

Pros: Adult woman, balance in story and intimacy

The female character makes me what to slap her.

Good gosh. Jessa is annoying.. she’s not strong, she’s not bull headed… whatever you want to call her. She’s annoying. She’s just ridiculous. I wanted to slap her. The story was okay. Maybe it was the narrator. I’m not sure. But i am halfway through… so I’ll continue.

Ugh

This book will give you whiplash! I mean, not your typical Bratva book. The MMC is (of course) the top guy but he is soft hearted about the FMC. The FMC falls quickly in love with the MMC, but she hates him and is also afraid of him. The MMC is in love with her but isn’t ready to admit it. They have conversations that, in the same breath, are hateful and then soft and lovey dovey. It’s ridiculous bc it happens all the way through the book. And the MMC will threaten the FMC but doesn’t do anything to her (minus one thing that’s not even that bad). All that said, the narrators did a great job and both are new to me. I just did not care for the inconsistency of feelings and actions and really in sentences! I do not recommend. I won’t be getting the next book.

The narrative is perfect

The story just crawls along. Too slow and not enough of a plot. This really could have been a great story. Once again, another needless cliffhanger. This could have been told with one book.

Ok

It’s not my favorite book. The story is dragging on. But I’m hooked so I’ll have to listen to the second book. But I think I’ve got it figured out.
