An absolutely delightful listen for such a horrifying story!  Short but definitely not sweet.  The narration by David Morley Hale was spot on, too!

Definitely not for the faint of heart.  LOVED IT!!!

I received this book from Audiobook Boom in exchange for an honest review. 5/5 stars

At only 15 minutes long, I don't think this book is worth a credit. It is, however, quite well written and is entertaining. The narrator did a good job on this tale. It has a good twist, but I felt this could (and should have been) much longer.

VERY short but good

Secrets in the sauce...

This was an engaging short story except for one thing: both the book image and the description talked about the shocking twist. When you tell someone there's a twist -- that's a spoiler. Instead of getting invested in the book, you're pulled out and you spend the whole time looking for the twist -- and are often let down when it comes. The story was good, as was the narration, but my enjoyment of it was greatly diminished due to expectation setting. Telling us what to expect shows a condescending lack of trust in the reader.

I'm still giving the book 5 stars because the book itself was good. Next time though, please write something just as good as this but trust your readers.

Good book, bad marketing

The best thing about this short story was the superb narration; the story was well voiced with excellent pacing. I would not hesitate to listen to more works narrated by David Morley Hale.

The short story was interesting, though I think partially ruined by the publisher's summary and mention of a 'killer twist' in the cover art. I feel like it would have lent more 'thrill' to the thriller if the twist was left out of the info. The story itself felt well written, the characters were believable, and was told in an interesting manner. I wouldn't spend a full credit on this but paying a couple bucks instead (if you're interested in this kind of tale) would be worth some brief entertainment.

Interesting short story, excellent narrator

It's hard to say much about this tale without giving things away given how short it is. Basically, we have a mild-mannered, yet competent husband that suspects and finally feels he has proof that his dismissive and overbearing wife is cheating. He takes his revenge at a dinner party. How? I'll leave that for you to find out.

This tale was short, but well-written and I found it satisfying. The narration was top-notch. I was provided this audiobook free of charge in exchange for my honest review, and I'd definitely recommend it. It's perfect for a short commute.

Now this is an author who knows how to tell a short story. Characters were compelling and well developed for such a short span of time to have spent with them. The bits about dietary choice arrogance and obnoxious social media behavior had me laughing out loud and made me appreciate the ending even more. The narrator has an elegant voice and does a great job with this story. I would certainly be interested in checking out more from this author and this narrator. Cute short story with a fun, yet twisted ending. Remarkably likable characters, even for such a short book. So easy to love Graham and hate Cressida. Ok, so it might be easy to hate the dog too, but way too cute. Graham may seem like a pushover, but it’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for.

Great performance by the narrator, too.
