What can I say? I’m a work in progress.

I never planned on being 39 and still a virgin. Life got in the way and before I knew it I was almost 40 with a cherry that had yet to be popped. So, I pulled up my big girl panties and made a bucket list to accomplish before the big four - zero. Easy peasy, right?

It only took three bottles of wine, the internet, and a dating site to flip my world on its side. What came next would consist of part disaster and part greatest thing to ever happen to me.

My new life consisted of plenty of men and plenty of dates. None of those were with the one man I wanted more than anything. He was untouchable. With his heated looks and seductive voice, I was in trouble. My restraint, willpower, and a non-fraternization policy were the only things keeping us apart. None of it mattered to him. He was determined to have me and damn the consequences.

With men, awkward dates, a geriatric wedding, naughty needle-pointing, and a sexy as sin boss the last year of my 30s had the potential to be one I would never forget.

This book was so funny. I loved all the dates and the story line with the main characters job. Highly recommend for fans of romance and comedy.

Such a fun book to read or listen to. I've done both. In multiple places I found myself busting up with laughter. This is a great rom-com! I really like the narrator. I love the characters - main and supporting - and all of the crazy antics.

This audiobook was so much fun! It was so cute and funny. I laughed out loud like a crazy person more than once. I've never read anything from Jackie Paxson before, but I plan on looking into more of her books. And I totally loved the narration of this book. Jennifer Blom did an amazing job with all the voices. She even did great with all the male characters. I def recommend this one!

A Work in Progress is creative with relatable quirky characters. I laughed throughout the book because of the banter between the friends and mishaps. I could not stop listening to this book as she checked off things from her before I turn 40 bucket list. I highly recommend this quirky but sexy hot book just prepare to have a good laugh. I received this book at my request for free and this is my fair and honest review here of my own volition.
