About this listen

What happens when the one person you thought you’d never see again waltzes back into your life? One scandalizing night in an emotional novel by a USA Today bestselling author.

Lennon Wells and Beckham Sullivan should have been perfect for each other. Both vulnerable, both striving to please difficult families, and both broken by the past. Going from friends to lovers seemed inevitable. So did a bad ending. They thought—they hoped—they’d never see each other again.

Years later, bad luck or fate, Lennon and Beckham find themselves working for the same magazine. The wounds are still raw, but the chemistry is there. Then they’re forced to work together on a project. Some things never change, and all it takes is one impetuous night. One mistake. And Lennon discovers she’s pregnant.

With more in common than they ever had before, Lennon and Beckham are going to be in each other’s lives for a long time now, whether they like it or not. And they’re starting to. If only they can break from the generational traumas that hold tight and take a shot at something they never expected: a second chance.

I loved this book! I didn't know how I would like it going into it and I love Alistair Haynesbridge so I picked it up more for him than the author LOL but I actually loved the story! The tension the couple had was just the right amount without being too much and the way they fall for each other and come together to find their futures in each other is beautiful! And of course Alistair did not disappoint. I could listen to this man read the phone book hes dreamy! I've never listened to Lynn but she did really good as well.

Such an underrated read from Micalea!

I loved this storyline of two people who knew each other when they were teens.
Due to their upbringing, they both are scared.
The narrator was hard to listen to in the beginning, but it got better.

little mistakes

This story was sad. The h started out strong but turned doormat after she found out she’s pregnant. The H didn’t want to have relationship with her but want a fake one so it was better for his image. The h went along even though she knew it was a lie. She just brush this off like it was okay. I hate MCs as they were sooo immature and yes, she’s pregnant. Her hormones want sex. This was soo cringing story and sad characters and story. I’m all about pregnancy romance but this one not worth the money even it’s on sale.

Sooo sad

I’m not a fan of the narrators of this. The female voice had some weird inflection at times. These books don’t usually get more than 3 stars from me. Cute for what it is, but not ground breaking and if you ask me next month i probably won’t be able to give a synopsis.

It’s fine

Predictable story, good narrators. Enjoyed the current mental health vibe. Keep it up. Breaking the old story tropes is enjoyable.

This was my first audio with these voice actors, & I loved them!! They did a fantastic job bringing Lennon & Beckham to life.

I wasn’t sure about this one at first, the MMC Beckham was a jerrrrrk, but the farther I got into it, I fell in love with him & Lennon.

Childhood friends & brief sweethearts who fell apart, they are brought back into each other’s lives by chance working together. One spicy work trip later, a pretty little mistake 🥹

Their journey is emotional, with both of them having some family baggage to work through & overcome, but it’s also so sweet. I was bawling at multiple places towards the end, & if you’ve followed my reviews you know I adore books that can do that lol!

PS: his nickname for her; HONEYBEE🥹 *swoons*

Pretty Little Mistake Indeed💜

This book made me genuinely happy. I wish there were more like it. The narrators did an amazing job.

Absolutely perfect

The book starts with a lot of promise but quickly turns into a headache. While I like the surprise pregnancy trope, this wasn't it for me. The main characters grated on every nerve of mine.

To begin, the MMC was a j3rk, even when the MFC was pregnant, giving off hot and cold attitudes that just made him very unlikeable. Then the MFC was just a doormat. There wasn't a single thing about her I could admire.

The story drags on. I do love a long book, but in this case, it wasn't necessary at all.

This book didn't hit the mark for me. However, if you have an affinity for this specific trope, it might be for you.

The narration could have used a bit of work...

Not for me
