About this listen

Dating can be tricky, but how hard can it be to find the right guy? Or even just a normal guy?

For Everly Dalton, it’s a bit like trying to walk in stilettos - while drunk, blindfolded, and wearing the wrong size shoes. She hasn’t exactly been lucky in love. In fact, she just might be cursed.

A guy who only dates lookalikes of his ex? Pass. An alpha-male businessman who bolts in a moment of crisis? No, thanks. A date that turns into the creepiest interview in the history of ever? Where does she find these guys?

Join Everly as she dishes to her friends about the surprising, unpredictable, and sometimes crazy adventure that is modern dating. Will she keep matching with frogs or find her Prince Charming?

Everly Dalton’s Dating Disasters originally appeared as six serial episodes in Claire Kingsley’s newsletter. The complete series is available here in one volume. Each episode is an account of one of Everly’s (typically terrible) dates. This series of short stories takes place before the full-length, stand-alone hot romcom, Faking Ms. Right.

Hil⭐ar⭐ous⭐!!

I already listened to the full length Faking Ms. Right and loved it. Everly did have some of the most outrageous dating disasters. There was one date she was sharing with her friends that left me laughing thru tears. Glad that HEA was just just an audible away...lol
Emma Wilder did a great job sharing these funny stories with us. I know some of us could relate to at least one of these whether personally or thru someone we know or heard. Was a funny short novella. Enjoy!!

The anti-romance. This was so funny! And it makes me want to reread Faking Ms. Right.

The prequel to the book I wanted

Initially I was getting the book until I noticed this prequel, since I don't know the author I figured this would be a great way to get started.

This intro to the heroines world was funny with all the datig fiascos she experienced, if you like aren't sure of this author or even narrator this was the perfect start.

Short, funny, and perfect!

If you're looking for a quick listen that is funny and entertaining, look no further. We all have had our share of dating disasters and Everly's stories reminds us how we need to kiss a few frogs until finding our own happy ending. Great story and totally recommend!

How could one person have so many bad first dates?

Everly Dalton just can't seem to find the right man to date.
She is beautiful, smart, funny and so likeable but when it comes to dating, she's a walking disaster and wants to just swear of dating.

In this prequel to Faking Ms. Right, we learn of her dating record, date after disastrous date.
We also get to meet the rest of The dirty Martini Running Club, which consists of her best friends Hazel and Nora.

Emma Wilder, is one of my favorite narrators. She gives every character their own personality and she is so fun to listen to.

Cute and funny and kinda cringe-worthy

This was such a cute book. Poor Everly! All those horrible first dates! She really must have the worst luck ever. The stories were funny and ridiculous and frustrating and exactly like real dating...just not one after the other. I sure hope her story continues with a better outcome.

Everly Dalton's Dating Disasters

Narration: Emma Wilder did such a great job bringing Everly to Life in this prequel I can not wait to hear her performance for book 1.

Story: She is the Queen of dating disasters. The horrors of online dating, and first dates this was absolutely hilarious. Everytime you think one of her dates couldn't get any worse, it does. This is just the wind up to the real crazy mess Everly finds herself in.
