I did not care for Liam's voice narrator but enjoyed Sofia's voice narrator. the second set of books narrators are much worse.

I wasn’t sure if I would like this book but I am invested in this story. I like Liam but I’m still on the fence about some of his quirks but he comes through when he is needed. Sofia needs to embrace that fire and stop being such a weakling. I’m on to the next one.

Very creative. However, as a reader/listener, I am frustrated at so much drama between Liam and Sophia. Certain parts between them just made me mad. I like the books action and creatively, but I wish the book would have rewarded the reader/listener by making Liam and Sophia more understanding of each other. Too many secrets between them and misunderstandings creating more problems.

love the authenticity of native culture used in this series and love this whole universe. My only complaint is the misogynistic massive over tone of "purity" and fetishizing "virgins" its 2022, thats gross. plus these are young adults in college the amount of emphases on loosing your "different firsts" is high school bs.

lasty invalidating women and women relationships, when you find out the main character is bi sexual she is clearly described sleeping with a woman. But when she goes back to her boyfriend she is suddenly a virgin? NO, thats not how it works, a penis is not the only thing capable of "taking your Virginity" sleeping with a women/oral sex IS SEX. Pretending she is still a virgin invalidates W/W relationships and again is completely misogynistic.
