Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

By all appearances, she had mastered being a grown-up. But beneath that veneer of success, she was a chronically anxious, self-medicating mess. No one knew that her road to adulthood had been paved with depression, anxiety, and shame. Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies is the story of Tara’s path to re-parenting herself and becoming a "ninja of self-love".

Story
In his early 20s, Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, rose to the heights of fame and power in the cutthroat music business. A decade ago, the multi-platinum selling rap artist decided to pivot. His ability to adapt to change was demonstrated when he became the executive producer and star of Power, a high-octane, gripping crime drama centered around a drug kingpin's family. The series quickly became "appointment" television, leading to Jackson inking a four-year, $150 million contract with the Starz network - the most lucrative deal in premium cable history.

In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf--ked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. "Here's what you've forgotten: You're a f--king miracle of being." It isn't other people that are standing in your way; it isn't even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It's yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself.

Great Content, Delivery not relatable!
While being inspired and uplifted by the words, I found the music extremely distracting, and I would have found it more comforting to listen to the narration of an Actual BLACK MAN!

Positive energy
This was a worthy 12 minutes full of affirmations of positivity but a BLACK MAN should have narrated this.

Great affirmations
These are great affirmations for the Black man, however, it would be more powerful if narrated by a Black by man. Publisher/author should consider a re-narration.

Much needed for the soul
Black men are often seen as one-dimensional and monolithic. We are so much more than what stereotypes say about us and these affirmations help with shattering them.

Very Inspirational
First Thing :
why is there a woman narrating quotes for black men???
Second Thing:
it would have been better more beneficial more inspiring if there were multiple black men talking and speaking about faults and failures and where we as black men come from and where we need to be headed and where we should be at I do believe that we need men who have been in a disposition of failure and used everything in their means of goodness and greatness by changing over their lives whether they were addicted to drugs or alcohol or any other thing that they were addicted to that just completely broke them away took them to the lowest level of life but yet use the formality that they use whether it be by a spiritual God or whether it be by just picking themselves up just because it is right or because they have a wife and family that they need to support and got themselves back on their feet to do better no disrespect at all to whomever the woman was that was giving inspirational words but to benefit more black men who think or who may believe that it's going to be a bunch of men talking in an inspiring I think that would have been much betterly fit for this accommodation of what the title is of this that got me inspired to want to listen to it but it wasn't what I thought thank you.
