About this listen

Opposites don't attract. They ignite.

Wes Sullivan is a military hero with a terrible secret. A secret that consumes him. Every day, it tightens its grip around his neck. Every day, he fights for control. So he doesn't have time for a person like Whitney.

She's the last person on earth he wants to date. She's a spontaneous risk-taker who likes to destroy a person's routine. Forget that. Forget her.

The feeling is mutual. Wes is too serious. Too controlling. Too military. And worst of all? He's her best friend's older brother.

But times are tight, and she needs a roommate. Wes needs a place to live. She has the room. She can handle seeing him in the hall, with his perfect abs and cut jaw on display. She can ignore the way he looks at her. She can resist him. For now....

You'll be consumed by this heart-wrenching military romance and the scorching tension between two enemies turned roommates turned lovers. Warning: You'll cancel your plans for this audiobook!

Contains mature themes.

The multiple changing voices were distracting. The female narrator was accurate as far as reading the script but her too high pitched , nasally voice
was not meant for book narration.

Good story -- not so great narration

An emotionally endearing, charming and heartbreakingly beautiful romance. Wes and Whitney are absolutely adorable. Wes has his issues but Whitneys vibrancy bring him out of his shell. I adored this book.
