Publisher's summary

The last thing Ryne Miller expected when waking up after the world ended was to find himself the ruler of a tribe of beautiful women.

Being the ruler isn’t all fun and games, though. It requires doing what needs to be done. To survive.

After a confrontation with Kodi and the Kol'Tah, Ryne promises to kill Matoax and prove himself worthy of becoming a Warlord to unite the Do’dekkah and Kol'Tah. He must travel to the Kol'Tah lands with his tribe members to access the Magic Fount.

If he’s successful, he’ll find himself with more power to protect his tribe and bring the conflicting groups together.

Except the Magic Fount is not as it appears, and there are forces at work that would see Ryne fail. Permanently.

Great book 2!!!

Our hero has taken over a tribe and now needs to expand it, but he also has to stay out of the clutches of the Sliver zealots.
Will Maggie or her daughter, or both, join his bed?
Another great HaremLit series by King.
Narrators do a wonderful job as well.
Can't wait for the next book.
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

excellent 2nd book

I thought this book did a nice job picking up where the first left off. I'm looking forward to exploring this world more as it grows. the narration was awesome. this is a great duo I could get used to listening to more of.

Split between this having potential/ or it being an nonsensical story.

Near the end of the story was pissing me off the zealot and the new girls actions adding nothing to the plot, Ryan’s actions and everything almost made me drop this. Ryan should have slapped or killed the zealot stopping her from freaking out, but he let her waking up some random, make a building collapse and put a target on his back, the other girl was freaking out and nobody shut her up, he had the device that he wanted and just looked at a message and didn’t keep it.
In my experiences writers who do this with their story don’t tend to make it a one time thing, even though it ruins what they make. With fantasy genre the best books and story are the fantasy part adding to the plot and keeping the people realistic none of what happened in what I wrote earlier needed to happen potentially making a pattern ruining this story’s chance of becoming great.
