About this listen

Unraveling of our genes by the Human Genome Project and follow on findings have shown there are two principal causes of aging: the shortening of the telomere genes at the ends of our chromosomes each time a cell divides to replace itself and the decrease in hormone levels as we age. Learn about the aging processes and the tests that have proved that we can slow, and eventually prevent aging.

Not balanced

What would have made Aging is Preventable better?

He presents good background data and studies but really misses the boat on treatment. He tells you all the great data and how certain things make a huge difference but then says but you are better off to buy stuff to boost hormones instead of getting the hormones he just spoke of. Then says that those experienced in the field would never prescribe hormones only nutraceuticals. I've been involved in the field for 10 years and I know those "experienced" in the field and he is way off base with his assertions unless he is speaking about those that are not physicians and unable to prescribe hormones. Read the parts about the studies and research, skip his treatment recommendations.
