About this listen

A series crossover novel - Brantley Walker: Off the Books/The Walkers of Coyote Ridge

Travis Walker has been battling dark urges since the day Juliet Prince kidnapped his six-year-old daughter four months ago. Although Kate was returned safely, the woman responsible vanished.

When their attempts to find her keep coming up empty, Travis let his need for retribution consume him, and it nearly cost him his relationship with his family. Thanks to help from Gage and Kylie, Travis came back from the brink and passed the case back where it belonged: with the Off the Books Task Force.

What they don’t know is that, despite their best efforts and repeated failures to find her, Juliet doesn’t intend to run forever. She’s coming back to Coyote Ridge to settle the score once and for all. And this time, she intends to bring Travis to his knees by taking what means the most to him.

When the unthinkable happens, Travis’ need for vengeance is renewed, and he will move heaven and earth to avenge his family.

Another great story by NE

While thoroughly enjoying this continuation of Brantley Walker; I do have to say that I found it very unsettling and disappointed in the tragedy of Kylie!!! I very much love the inclusion of all the walker clan; we read these stories to enjoy the ups and downs but to eliminate a mother of 5 children with 2 loving and hot hubbies….just No‼️. While in the real world we know that life is not fair and tragedy happens to good people, This is fiction and we read to escape the tragedies in the world!!
However it was done well ! It would have been more enjoyable for me to have her live and see Julia live out her days in a cell!!! Just my opinion but I like the Happy!!!
Looking for to the next book!!

Amazing listen!

Emotionally charged and full of suspense, we start book 5 of Nicole Edwards Off the Books series. Juliet Prince kidnapped Kate, and once returned, Travis was still on the alert protecting his family. She seems to have disappeared, but she still was seeking her vengeance. Coming back to Coyote Ridge resulted in a tragedy that no one expected and now Brantley, Reese, JJ and Bax are working with Sniper Security to find the woman. Edwards writes the most desperate and emotional story as we go on the hunt for this crazy woman. The entire Walker family is in this one, all pulling together in times of need. Brantley and Reese are dealing with their own feelings with this investigation, but their relationship is still growing, and I am loving them. We see Travis and Gage go through some difficult times as well as Baz and JJ. What keeps me coming back to this series is the phenomenal writing, the story that slows from book to book and the characters that I feel are like my own family. It's fantastic, the crossover of series is exciting, and I can't wait to see what Edwards brings us next.

Continuing their amazing narration, Tor Thom and Charlie Ongel deliver it all in this book. So much happens, and it's not easy to hear. The emotions are deep, and they both bring it all out, touching our hearts and making us cry. The talented team brings all the voices from previous books too, creating that continuity that I love. It's fantastic and should not be missed.

O.M.G!

Nicole Edwards wrote a riveting book with Alibi. I never saw some of those twists coming. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel really brought the characters to life with their voices. They added the right emotions, especially the heartbreaking scenes. I do not like to give away spoilers, but my eyes welled up at one point.

Great story and great narration

This review is the briefest I have ever written for a book by Ms. Edwards. Suffice to say that she has written a book that will leave you with your mouth hanging open, shaking your head and wondering what you just read.
I will say that there is an awful lot going on in Alibi as the entire Walker clan come together as well as a number of other familiar faces.
This is a book that you need to read and experience for yourself. Nicole Edwards has certainly made a mark on my soul with Alibi.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel brought this highly emotional story to life for me with their fabulous performances which had me in tears.

Tears

Wow what to say about this book! It was beyond heart breaking and hard to read. You will be in tears angry laughing and angry again. Very emotional. Not one I could read again because I’m a huge fan of gage Travis and Kylie.

Why Was This NECESSARY!!!

I do not know WHY this was necessary. If you love all the characters of Coyote Ridge and you want to continue to re-read the books, you do not want to read this one. I know characters die in books, but this one was one of the most beloved characters in Nicole Edwards books, and it was just not necessary to continue the storyline. People who gave this five stars say that it worked out in the end, but I disagree. I will never be able to go back and re-read the Coyote Ridge series and it saddens me. I am looking forward to Evermore and that will probably be my last Nicole Edwards book, she has broken my heart.
