Publisher's summary

Federal Agent Lucas Beaumont has an agenda - get himself assigned to the case of the apparent serial murders at Lancaster Falls, find out who the murderer is, and then lay the ghosts that haunt his grandfather to rest. In the midst of a horrific murder investigation, the only peace he gets is from simple moments in a warm kitchen, talking to hotel owner, Josh. Attraction to the easygoing man is something he didn't expect; in doing so, he opens himself to hurt, but at the same time, he begins to fall in love.

Josh is struggling to keep the Falls Hotel, even with every cent he has invested in its upkeep. The one thing keeping him above water is the not entirely legal work he does on the side - a steady income that not even his son knows about. When the FBI takes over his hotel for the duration of the Hell's Gate serial killer case, Josh is faced with the real possibility that Lucas will not only discover his secret but also steal his heart.

When tragedy hits Josh and his son, and when it seems all hope is lost, can Lucas rescue them both?

Contains mature themes.

Amazing ending!

The end was a real shocker! I’ll definitely listen to this one again even though I know the killer.

awesome conclustion! 👍👍

Would I listen to it again: absolutely ✔
Did the story keep me engaged: completely ✔
Was I invested in the characters: totally ✔

📖 This is my favorite of the series, The characters are delightful together, the pace was good and the over-arching series plot pulled together amazingly. I loved Lucas's stuffiness and Josh's quirkiness and devotion to the people in his circle - these guy's together just make me smile 😊.

🎧🎧 Sean Crisden is among my favorite narrators. He's a master storyteller and his rhythm, cadence of voice, the way he builds tension and makes clear what is inner monologue, are all present as he brings 'All That Remains' to life. Each character had his own voice and personality which comes through in the narration (Josh's "always the happy one" personality was delightful). 👍👍

I've thoroughly enjoyed the Lancaster Falls Trilogy and it will happily sit on my "re-listen to" list (despite knowing who the bad guy is!). I highly recommend it it you like small town mystery, suspense and colorful characters.

Each book got better and better. Glad they were all released as they ended on cliffhangers. Good mystery, wonderful people and setting too.

What a Story!

This third book in the series was the perfect missing piece to the puzzle. There are no cliff hangers or anything left unsolved.

Great ending to a great trilogy

This series has an amazing plot that weaves through all three books while introducing a different couple in each book. Here it’s Josh and Lucas. I have a soft spot to single dads and Josh is an amazing single dad. Strong characterization and superb narration.

Great story. Great narration.

Nice wrap up to an interesting mystery/romance series. This is probably my favorite of all Of RJ Scott's series. I enjoy a dark mystery with a dash of romance. The setting was great, and the plot had just enough twists and turns to keep me uncertain if I had guessed right.

As always, I liked Sean Crisden's voices and narration.

Great Ending to this Series!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the conclusion to the Lancaster Falls Trilogy; satisfyingly pulled together in a way I hadn't seen coming. The couple in this final installment were a treat to watch evolve. Hot, sexy, and quirky men, with just enough angst to make the brooding Federal agent so delicious to be taken apart by the wild, uninhibited Josh! So very delicious!!

Sean Crisden's sexy, deep narration really drove it home. He was the perfect voice for this intimate series, fleshing out the numerous characters with unique personalities. Excellent job!!

Obsessed

I love this series. I have listened to it many many times. The characters are so lovable and perfect for each other. The mystery was very confusing and tangled, but resolved and surprising by the end. Love love love.
