About this listen

Emery

When I met him, I didn't realize who he was. I still didn't when I let him take me back to his hotel for the night. I never expected to see him again.

Until I found him on my father's couch, revealing he and I are connected in more ways than simply a one-night stand. To make it worse, he was a Saint, part of the ruling mafia family that owned the city of Redhill.

I should have stayed away at that point. I had a lot at risk and my own mess to deal with, but it wasn't that easy. Not when he kept showing up, and that one night turned to two, and then three...

I was drawn to him as much as he was to me. We should have stayed away from each other. If we did, maybe there wouldn't be more than my heart on the line...

Atlas

She was a distraction I didn't see coming, a light in the dark.

I was no good for her, not with my demons and my past. She deserved better. Yet I kept taking, kept devouring all that she was willing to give.

My life was dangerous. I was dangerous. But she didn't run from me. Maybe if she did, we wouldn't be in this mess.

I'm a selfish man, and the games I play are ones that only end in shattered pieces. She'll learn soon enough that I'm no good. But it'll be much too late by then.

I should have known how this would end. How could someone so broken hope for a happy ending, after all?

All the Broken Pieces is a standalone dark mafia romance from the author of the Twisted City Duet & No Saint.

All the Broken Pieces

Omg this is stepsibling trope to perfection! I love how hot and heavy this one started. Ria’s writing just sucks you fight in! The narration was great on this one too!

Enjoyable

I did enjoy the listen, the only drawback for me was the continued self loathing. Not a fan of I am not good enough statements. Other than the a love well deserved

✨ A DAMAGED HERO IN AN ANGSTY ADDICTIVE PLOT ✨

The start of Atlas and Emery’s angsty rollercoaster romance should’ve begun and ended in a ‘one night no names’ hotel room.. but their surprise second meeting.. and their family links, kickstarted a whole different relationship. However, the damaged, dark, broken, “I’m no good for her” haunting thoughts causes Atlas to turn away, to push, to verbally strike out to sever their tie and to deny the light from his firefly Emery. Then there’s the arranged marriage forced on pawn Emery who’s blackmailed into an engagement with a monster not of her choosing.. no, she wants all the broken shards that makes up the complex, demanding, damaged man she’s fallen in love with. So, how long and how strong will Atlas push away what could be his salvation? Behind his walls what does he still do to protect what’s his? What highs and low and twists and turns will be in their rollercoaster journey? And what will the fallout be when their enemies seek their brutal and bloody revenge? Well let this talented author pull you into the murky depths of the Saints Mafia world to find out.

Worth a credit? Good dual POV narration, an entertaining addictive plot with a push n pull tortured romance with heat and a bit of sub/dom play between a dirty talking dominant “I’m not worthy” alpha tormented obsessed hero and a sweet natured heroine whose love, goodness and light finally balanced a broken beast. It has dark elements, a hero you want to personally save 😉🤭🤫 and sinister, high stakes drama too. So yes, IMO, very creditworthy.

WOW!! So good!

The writing is amazing and the dialog is believable. The storyline is really great, and the narration is on point. The passion is there from the start and is hot! Then romance develops from there. I love the characters too. This is not really mafia, not even light-mafia. Atlas suggests that his family owns the city and is very powerful, but you don’t get typical mafia activity. But I really enjoyed this book. Definitely recommend!

All the Broken Pieces

I loved listening🎧to this book everything was perfection❣️ The narrators are mostly new to me they did a great job making you feel like you’re part of the storyline. Even though this book is a standalone a lot of things become much more clearer if you would 🎧read “No Saint” it’s mostly about his older brother Gabriel. It didn’t get a perfect rating because it didn’t end with a wedding a baby to make it all perfect in my opinion, it does end with a HFN. Is it worth the credit? Oh f**k yes firefly💋

PS: Ria Wilde please, please in your next dark mafia story can it end with a wedding & surprise twins lol!!! Thanks a fan❣️

loved loved loved

this is a grumpy sunshine mafia story, but I l9ved the twist that showed through the characters the inner turmoil through dual pov. the FMC is a sunny, loving, and giving person who crosses with our morally grey MMC.
what starts as a chance "encounter" quickly has a full entanglement.
for those looking for this confirmation, the spice is spicin but not at the sacrifice of the story.
the narrators were chefs kiss. Gabriel is a new to me narrator, and I enjoyed listening to him
Nikki is a top favorite, and this just solidifies why I especially search by books she's tied to.
