About this listen

The Etheric Empire is making final preparations to cross the Gate.

In the run-up to departure, the Etheric Academy goes through some changes as the students get a taste of the future awaiting them after graduation. The classes are split, and new friendships form as Tina, Ron, Yana, Maxim, and Nestor take their first steps toward adulthood.

A visit to Earth is in the cards for Tina, Ron, and Maxim, but is it really a good idea to let the kids go down to the mudball again? Jean Dukes is left with no choice when sabotage forces a shutdown at an important TQB facility in the UK.

There's intrigue at the castle, and the kids can't resist. As the mystery unravels, they will discover what it means to fight for what's right.

tons of fun!!!

Alpha Class is the first series I have been blessed with hearing before reading. The narrator is wonderful, easy to listen to and helps keep you on the edge of your seat. The author has created a wonderful adventure that has me wanting to start listening to next book now ... so I will end this review saying that I cant wait to start book 4!!!

Good continuation

Nice, logical, well told. Certainly not at the level of the main line books, but worth the listen.

Hooray! We get the next installment!

Out of the whole Kurtherian Gambit Universe, the Etheric Academy series is my favorite next to the original Bethany Ann series; followed by Terry Henry Walton and Brownstone.
I’m so glad that Anderle was able to complete the last two EA with Roberts.
Beresford does a great job with narration.
Have Fun!

Duke it out

Was pleasantly surprised with the focus on Gene in this book. Her bad assery on display in this was fucking awesome. Of course the students actions were great and pivotal to the story. But it was nice to have Gene in a battle with her as the main fighter.
Thanks for the great story

Entertaining

Action, action, action. The future’s youths are ready to jump in without hesitation. The story is entertaining and interesting. It was great to see Jean Dukes involved on a land operation.

Hmm

The first two books were so slow and actually lack depth (I feel at least) this book felt like the characters developed and accomplished something. Where the first two books it felt like they didn’t.

Narrator was still lacking. I think this series is the second series I’ve ever had a negative fibe from. Reading 200-400 books a year I feel like I would have had more chances at a bad experience but I hadn’t. Now with this series I can say I’ve had two now. I hope it gets better because the time I’ve invested into this I’d hope something comes of the book.

The third book was missing the recipe concept which actually is a neat concept to put into a book.

Maybe I’m being harsh or what gave you but so far this book was the only book worth reading. They should have combined all three into one and took out the nonsense,

Hypocrtical bull wrapped around a pretty story.

First you got a academy training students for a career in war but deans who flip at live fire. Then you have people having kids kill others widowing spouses and orphaning children while making a game of it without any emotional impact of taking human lives. Got Bethany claiming she'd kill anyone who threatens children but let's the people who ordered it go. Honestly these books are a mess of trying to be bad ass, action packed but merciful but failing in every way. The kids know something is up days before it happens but dont trust their superiors enough to tell them , honestly it should have cost lives and taught them a lesson about trying to act the hero rather than doing the smart thing and report it to the person who the Queen herself trusts to take care of that stuff. This series is a mess.
