I really enjoyed this audiobook by Iris Bolling. This is one of Iris Bolling’s masterpieces. She is the queen of writing about families, friendship, love, loyalty and support. You will get all of those components in this audiobook. Narrator, Winston James brought to life each character’s personality that had my imagination going wild. I laughed out loud a lot while listening to this book.

Congratulations Iris Bolling and Winston James for a job well done!

This was a great story! This was my first time reading anything from this author. I got the book because of the narrator. It didn't disappoint! This family was hilarious!

This is the first book I have read by this author. I can see I have a lot of catching up to do. Although this was a really good read, I wouldn't advise this as a first read. There were too many siblings, couples, familial relationships, and friends to track. I managed to keep up pretty well, but I think I would have enjoyed the book even more if I had a clear understanding of all of the backgrounds.

I had to admire Sasha for wanting a relationship with Stephanie. Putting it nicely, that woman was a piece of work. No one should have to deal with that. I liked the way the Lassiter family supported Sasha. I enjoyed the way Luke and Sasha were together. It just made me more invested in finding out how they met.

One thing I figured out was there was much more to the characters in this book than just being wealthy. I had to do a little research to see where JD and Tracey started.

I had both the audiobook and the ebook. The narrator did a great job. I thought it was kind of funny the way he had JD having that Barack Obama sound.

I admit it. The scene on the ship with Stephanie had me howling. I could barely stop laughing to wipe the tears away. After that, I realized I had to find out what the deal was with Adam.

This was a truly entertaining read. Even without know who was who, I still enjoyed this book. I would give it 4.5 stars only because I wish part of the description had been to warn a reader they may not want to read this before at least reading Luke's book.
