Trorm Coldstorm is a foreign exchange student come to study magic at the arcane academy. Thing is, he's an orc.

Trorm finds himself facing a slew of stereotypes and misconceptions about who, and what, he is. Everyone he meets expects him to be a dumb savage who's just there to play football. But Trorm is not dumb. He's a skilled wizard in his own right, and when he finds himself embroiled in a dark plot by sinister cultists, he'll show everyone just how intelligent and savage he truly is.

orcish hero...bunny girl..tech girl...paladin

What more does any college need? Cute story about the problems an orc transfer student faces. I enjoyed it the dialogue was charming. I think this book 1 leaves a lot of possibities for book 2. I was given this free audiobook for the purpose of rating and reviewing. I purchased book 2.

Great fun and exciting story!

I saw how highly rated the written story was on Amazon, and thought this sounded like a pretty fun story. I'm very glad I tried it out! Great characters, constant non-stop action, with fun humor throughout the story, and the sex scene wasn't the main theme, just part of the story.

So this first time author did a fantastic job making a truly entertaining story. And the narrator did a great job with character voices. I was thoroughly kept enthralled after each chapter, eager to hear the next.

Definitely going to continue with this series! Next please!

fun

Good story and solid narration

An intelligent Orc foreign exchange student goes to collage to improve his magic. What could go wrong?

If you enjoyed "Dan the Barbarian" you will probably like this one too.

Warning: story contains tentacle monsters, bunny girls and collage students

College with Magic

A humorous take on the trials and drama of the good e college days.
You know, back when we knew everything.
The narrator was a little to fast for me, but her characters were well done, clear and enjoyable.

Actually pretty good!

I can't believe that I'm actually going to say this, but this was really a good book. I really did not think that I would be a big fan of a book with an Orc as a main character. While I love fantasy and syfy kind of stuff, Orcs have just never been my fav. But I really did enjoy this book. It was a little on the shorter side, I like my books with a little more meat to them. But even though it was short, it was really well done. I definitely plan on reading more from this author. The narration was also very well done. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. <3

GREAT READ!

I really enjoyed it. Although this story is quick it doesn't lack in entertainment. This book is full of action, humor, steam and romance. The narration was great and will keep you entertained. The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I look forward to reading more books in this series. More graphic sex than I'd want, but still fun.

I'll admit that the descriptions of sexual acts were more graphic than I'm comfortable with, still, it was a fun romp.
I don't regret listening to someone else's recommendation, I just need to remember their tastes.
However, the story was fun and the world is interesting. I may give the next book a chance.

Fun and quick read

A cute and quick read. The overall word building is nice. A typical fish out of water story with the main character trying to understand a completely different culture, while defending himself from “evil”, and also trying to get the girl. The story is left open ended allowing for more stories if the author is inclined. Really enjoyed it, but I felt it was over too quickly, hopefully more is coming.

Fun but short story, talented but stilted narrator

Fun but short story with some explicit content.
Narrator talented, but seems to speak in a peculiar tilted way when narrating and speaking as the main character, pronouncing what I assume is "Horde" as "Hoard" for some reason.
