every sentence ends with a question mark and had i not been in the middle of the series i would have most definitely returned this. steer clear.

the narrator painfully exaggerates words and actions while still leaving the story stiff and flat. would not recommend. spend the extra 2$ and get a better recording.

The Anne series has alway one of my favorites. It is hard to find a narrator that fits the series, is pleasant to listen to, and captures Anne's personality and spirit. In my opinion this reader misses the mark. Her voice is not pleasant to listen to, has a sharp nasal tone, but most importantly she doesn't have the right inflection, cadence and tone when she is speaking for the characters, especially Anne. I find that listening to her voice distracts me and you lose the flow of the story. I will look for a different narrator.
