Can’t wait to share

I can’t wait to share with my son’s & my granddaughter. I wish Mr. Kendi’s book, & perspective were available when I was a child.

Good short

Simple, achievable concepts, that are both simple and incredibly complex good for young and old

Should have asked Ted Cruz to read this book!

If Ted Cruz had asked me if I agreed with this book, having never heard of it before, I would have asked him to read it to me on the Senate Floor.

Also, I understand why people say it's not a children's book, but when your child can't read and can barely speak or not speak at all, any book is a children's book.

This is not a children's book

I love this book. I love the simple way it outlines specifics task people of privilege should engage in to be "anti-racist". That said this book is not for children. A large variety of the terms and concepts presented in the book would require an adult/group discussion for the majority of privileged teenagers to consider. The truth is that this book would make a great addition to a class but that there are foundational concepts that really should been addressed before presenting children with the term "Anti-racist."

Guidance on raising anti-racist babies

I liked the 9 steps given to help parents and caregivers to raise anti racist babies. The reader was expressive and easy to listen to.

Antiracist Baby is an Exploratory for Adults

After listening to the book on Audible, I dissolved into laughter an spat my wine across the room. The purpose of the book is to be teach adults how to NOT pass on their racist tendencies to children. The book was not written to be read to children.

This is an excellent book and makes a great gift for new parents and teachers. In that racism can be overt or subtle, this book may help many people analyze themselves. Buy the book and test your waters. Anyone who thinks this book was written for children is.......well ...... a Cruz Creature...... whatever that is 😄

Not a children's book, that's for sure

This book is depicted and portrayed as a children's story. And in some ways it is. However in other ways it is clearly not. Any book that talks about policies ain't a kids book.

Expected More

I expected this to be geared towards children. Content itself is decent but the brevity and didactic format was disappointing.
