About this listen

Adam Cortinas may be gorgeous, but he's made it clear he can't stand Olivia - and the feeling is 100 percent mutual. Too bad, because these two coworkers are stuck with each other for the next week.

When their travel plans go horribly awry, Olivia finds herself stranded in the middle of nowhere with Adam, a.k.a. the bane of her existence.

He's in her space and in her head. All the forced proximity is driving Olivia insane. That's the only explanation for these feelings she's suddenly having.

But it doesn't change anything. They still hate each other.

Right?

I liked the setup of this book more than others in the series. I wish there was more specifics about their jobs and job specific language. However, the hero is a prat. Very off-putting manners and "directness."

Plot Felt Fresh... At Start... Hero Disappointing

4.5 stars. Cute couple on an enemies to lovers road trip for work. This book is practically 100% romantic interactions where the characters fall in love. I wish there had been an added chapter before the epilogue that wrapped up the heroine’s work trouble storyline, It felt like the story ended abruptly. Otherwise, an enjoyable listen. Fantastic narration.

The character kept going on and on about being short, while it was clearly stated that she's 5'3" which is literally only 1 inch shorter than average for a woman. As a person who is actually short, I don't even have half of the problems she claims that the character has due to this. It got so annoying that it was constantly being brought up.

DNF Author is Clueless, Main Character is Annoying
