About this listen
The world of tomorrow will be completely different than the world in which we grew up. How can you teach your child to be an adult of the future when no one knows what tomorrow will bring?
Parenthood is one of the hardest jobs in the world. To have a baby born a clean slate and guide them toward becoming a happy, well-adjusted adult is no easy feat. Parents know that they need to take care of their children’s physical and academic needs, but sometimes, mental health takes a bit of a backburner. Especially since we have no idea of knowing what the world will look like for our children, it’s difficult to prepare them. However, as the problems in the world change with passing time, one thing stays the same: The mental and emotional tools necessary to cope with whatever they may be.
As you listen to this audiobook, you will receive seven of the most important mental and emotional tools that every parent and child needs to have in their arsenal. These tools include resilience, creativity, mindfulness, self-compassion, and more, and as you listen, you’ll learn of the importance of each tool as well as how to develop it for yourself and how to foster it in your children.
By implementing these seven tools into your life and emphasizing them in your own parenting, you will help to create the adults of tomorrow who will have these crucial tools that will prepare them for just about anything the world could possibly throw at them.
Your children look to you to be their guides in their early years. It’s up to you and your parenting styles to give them the tools they need to guide them through the rest of their lives.

One of the very best scientific predictors for how any child turns out - in terms of happiness, academic success, leadership skills, and meaningful relationships - is whether at least one adult in their life has consistently shown up for them. In an age of scheduling demands and digital distractions, showing up for your child might sound like a tall order. But as best-selling authors Daniel Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson reassuringly explain, it doesn’t take a lot of time, energy, or money. Instead, showing up means offering a quality of presence.

Qualities associated with emotional intelligence, are a greater predictor of future success than having a high IQ and are very often overlooked. Fortunately, emotional intelligence is something that can be taught and developed, and the ideal time to do it is while your kids are still young.

A fabulous listen for parents & carers
This audiobook is such a well crafted parenting tool. It was a beautiful listen that made me feel at peace with all challenges that parenting brings, easing the constant flow of worries that all parents and carers must endure. It has shed light on the most important areas of focus to support our children, the next generation, and support them in becoming happier, well rounded adults. It has also helped me to regain a fresh perspective on the way I navigate life from day to day. A lovely listen I highly recommend.

Must Read
Parenting is the hardest job in the world! I am so glad I found this book with so many tools to help me parent my kids. Something that hit hard is "living in the moment," something so simple yet hard to do. I let anger and emotion take me away when dealing with kids. I can't wait to practice all the skills in this book and be a better parent for my children.

Great tips for parenting a teenager!
This is undoubtedly one of the best books I found on Audible. A well-composed, felicitous content to all the parents out there, whoever thinks that parenting is challenging with all the prevailing circumstances. I, been a single mother for two teenage twins, personally face many challenges on a daily basis. But this audiobook has been a great relief as it unveils a lot of crucial psychological and emotional facts and strategies so that I could give the best to my children. With the twisted world around us, preparing a child for their future could be pretty demanding, but I'm sure that this guide will provide you with enough support to make it through successfully, just as it did with me. It is highly recommended!

Life lessons for the next generation!
This book is a must-have for every parent with teenagers. Each chapter explains in great detail how to discipline kids by maintaining a healthy relationship with them, including them in decision-making about their future, and drawing the line when things get out of control. The 21st century is all about freedom and liberty, but old values do exist even in modern society. The narrator did an excellent job explaining each chapter with a gentle tone.

One of the best parenting book I've ever read!
I have read a lot of parenting books and this one stands out. I mean, how many parenting books recommend teaching kids to live sustainable lives? In the process, us as parents are also taking our own advice- from this book. I highly, highly, highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to raise their children to be able to function as capable adults with all of life's ups and downs. They even may emerge as leaders with this solid foundation. I am so glad I listened to this book!

Don’t ignore mental health too
These days, there is so much emphasis on getting our little ones exercise and good diets, that we forget about one of the most important aspects of living a healthy and fulfilled life: mental health. Thank goodness for this excellent title that easily exposes the listener to a whole world of mental health helping elements that will shape our families’ futures. 5/5

Very important read
Life lessons start at home. This book gives great foundational information and support for parents trying to raise well balanced kids. The book starts off talking about mental health which is just now being openly talked about. That is great guidance for parents to understand their children need that too. The information in this book can be applied to adults too! Great read!

This audio taught me stuff about parenting that I had never thought about before. Kids are different these days and deal with a lot more emotional and mental trauma. The seven strategies discussed are a breath of fresh air for a mom like myself, trying to navigate raising 3 children. The narrator also has a great voice and excellent pacing.
