About this listen

In the third volume of the As the World Dies Untold Tales experience three terrifying tales of those who are forced to face the unrelenting and hungry walking dead.

Returning to Texas after celebrating his divorce in Vegas, Rune, a biker cursed with the ability to see ghosts, discovers that the world is being taken over by the hungry undead. Soon he realizes he will have to depend on all his abilities to survive not only the ravenous zombies, but the dangerous men lurking on the back roads of Texas.

Senator Paige Brightman abandoned the Madison Mall and its inhabitants to the hungry hordes, but her journey did not end there. Her attempt to reach the president's safe haven called Central has far reaching ramifications for her and the people she abandoned.

The final in the three stories reveals the aftermath of the great battle in SIEGE as one woman faces the ultimate decision whether to live or die in a world of the undead.

This was good.I did not read the original series, but I liked the characters, even the ghosts, that these stories were about. Kathy Bell Denton was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The woman who reads this is easy to understand and keeps the listener entertained.
The stories included are as brilliant as the other books and tales in this series. You learn more about two mysterious characters from Siege as well as being introduced to a new character who didn't make it into the series itself. I love this series so if you come across this without reading 'As the World Dies' trilogy I suggest starting at the beginning of this wonderful story.

Does not disappoint

I do enjoy the author's writing style. These installment of the untold stories was the only one to touch on the paranormal, and I thoroughly enjoyed this type of story line. The narrator was great as well. I believe Time was my favorite character in this one... No to find the actual series!!

excellent listen

What happens when you see ghosts and then the zombie apocalypse happens? You get a helluva lot of ghosts. I wasn't sure about mixing ghosts and zombies, but it worked!! Definitely worth reading!!

What a treat! Absolutely loved getting to listen to Rune's tale. I read this series years ago. It was the first zombie apocalypse series that I ever read. Rhiannon Frater is a talented writer.

This volume had 2 stories I loved and 1 I didn't care for much. Rune, a biker with extra sensory abilities, is one of my favorites in the whole series. He reminds me of an Uncle of mine who looks hard as stone on the outside but has the biggest heart. Not my favorite Untold Stories volume, but still very good.
I can listen to Kathy Bell Denton all day long...'nuff said.

I can not express how much I love this series. Mrs. Frater does an amazing job of bringing the downfall of humanity to life. In this volume you learn more about Rune the badass Harley riding medium. I also like how the characters from previous stories met each other in passing through out these stories. But Emma's story broke my heart and had me literally crying. Any writer who can actually touch your heart through their words is amazing. And again Mrs. Denton does a fantastic job of reading. I could feel the pain Emma was going through in her voice. Absolutely amazing.

Having listen to all the books this one is the only one I recommend. This one is only one the author put her heart and soul and the only one you feel for the characters feel their pain and loss. Wish the author would have done this to book one and two then it would have been an awesome story.
