About this listen

Multiple time USA Today and Amazon five-million copy best-selling authors David Archer and Blake Banner have combined forces to create one hell of a thriller series!

ODIN is an organization which is above top secret. It coordinates intelligence from the so-called Five Eyes The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand—and it acts on that intelligence. For that reason it’s level of security is the highest on the planet.

Or so they thought, until top ODIN agent Mira Finn was murdered in Paris, her tortured body dragged from the Seine. A handful of people knew she was in France, fewer than that knew what her mission was. Two of them were Alex Mason and Nero, the chief of Odin itself, the other two were General Patrick O’Connor, chief security advisor to the President, and the President himself.

One of those four men was the traitor who had leaked Mira’s mission. Of the remaining three, only two were innocent. The other was the scapegoat.

Alex Mason knew that was him. He was officially on the run and he had 36 hours to find the truth, clear his name, and avert a global catastrophe of unprecedented proportions.

Captivating!

I love the pace and the intrigue of this series. I've been hooked since book one and can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

I'm hooked

This is now the 4th book with the Alex Mason character. I'm hooked and want more. This book was entertaining , well written, and with a great narrator, you can't go wrong. The banter amongst the key characters which is the same as the other 3 books is absolutely wonderful. I hope the authors will knock out more Alex Mason books hopefully including his Mossad Agent friend Captain Gallin. I recommend this and the other 3 books.

More liability than asset

What I was afraid would happen to this series has happened. It’s turned from a good thriller series to pretty well-written thriller fantasy. The writing is still engaging and the performance is first-rate. But th plot of this book is ludicrous and the abilities of our heroes bees even my ability to suspend disbelief. The stakes in this book are literally saving the world from annihilation. To explain why I thought the plot os so ludicrously stupid would involve revealing key elements of the story, which I’m reluctant to do. The whole plot starts with the rediculous premise that a defector MUST get to the US to convey vital information that could just as easily, and much more quickly, have been covertly transmitted. And the plot goes downhill from there. I like the characters; I like the writing — but I’m giving up on this series and recommend that you do, too.

Just loses reality

I liked the storyline about the missile shooting satellite. However I know the writer in these condense novels is trying to wrap the story in a nice bow quickly, but honestly the storyline lose me at the end. You have two good guys fighting 100 bad guys to save the president--good guys win?? Cmon!!! I thought the bad guys were mercenaries not mall cops??
