About this listen

Following an emergency landing in an experimental spacecraft on an uncharted planet in an unknown solar system, Major Åt will embark upon a journey that tests the very limits of his patience and tenacity. During his mission to acquire the materials needed to repair the ship’s propulsion system, he soon discovers that some things, even when they are abundantly available, are not necessarily easy to procure.

While navigating the expanse between his downed ship and the location coordinates for the elements needed to repair it, each misstep sends him back to square one, where he must start the process all over again from the very beginning. With only a limited number of possible failures, Åt must learn quickly in order to avoid the snares and pitfalls of a society riddled with unforeseen challenges and unexpected cultural diversity.

Stranded on a planet whose sun is incapable of providing the energy required to sustain his life force, the race against time itself proves to be yet another obstacle erected between him and that which he longs for most: home.

At is a work of Art in Science Fiction

AT by Raino D. McFarland narrated by Joe Pavia is a masterpiece. The story is a space exploration, adventure. It’s entertaining, interesting, inspiring, thrilling, technical, challenging, and creative. AT makes you want to think outside the box. The characters are intriguingly crafted. The story plot is surprisingly composed. A much read. I did get the book for free for a honest review.

Fresh Perspective, Fun Character Arc"

Initially, I found it a bit challenging to connect with the main character, but as the story unfolded, I became increasingly fascinated by their journey. Admittedly, it took me a little longer than expected to fully grasp the concept of the 'being,' but once I did, the challenges they faced became even more enjoyable and engaging to follow. The story brought a refreshing perspective that made it truly stand out in a fun and unique way. The ending was satisfying, and the character’s name added a delightful touch—each time the narrator said it, I found myself smiling. Overall, it was an enjoyable and intriguing read!

Rather Usual Story

I like this story, though I think other works by this author are much better. The story was unusual and Imaginative, but something seem to be missing in it that I cab not put my finger on, maybe you will fi d out what. Narrator does a Great job with the entire storyline.

I felt the potential

Cons
1. The romance made me cringe. I’d love a good romance story but this was not it.

Pros
2. The tech. Once I understood how the tech worked it was great listening on how the main character operated it and how it adapted to the world around it.

3. The hero. Loved how the main character saved lives and help put bad guys away with his tech in a world that didn’t belong to him.

Oh what fun!

Åt (pronounced Oat) is from another solar system and when his space ship breaks down on planet Earth he has to begin the arduous process to find Plutonium so he can get his ship back to space travel worthy. His being wears a special suit that can morph into different things like a camel so he can safely cross the desert or as a woman so he can infiltrate areas to gain information. His being is able to listen to and communicate mentally with others in our world. His journey is tedious and challenging to say the least but in the process he meets Brooke and his life is changed forever. As I have said in many other reviews Riano never ceases to amaze me on his imagination to create such fun stories. And the narrator does a great job telling us this story.
