About this listen

Over a year has passed since the Survivors Club’s fateful showdown with the monstrous Killer of Azlewood. One woman is left to pick up the pieces. Racked with guilt and paralyzing fear, can she even begin to process those harrowing events. Or have her experiences left her broken and too far gone to recover from injuries, both physical and psychological?

A Texas Ranger and Special Agent of the F.B.I. begin to piece together the puzzle that plagues this mysterious rural community, as another massacre leaves this small town reeling and on the verge of collapse.

Meanwhile, a new monster stalks the dark woods surrounding the town. And, a new killer leaves a grisly trail of bodies in his wake as he slowly makes his way toward a terrifying final reckoning.

Return to Glen Haven and catch up with the brave survivor girl, Autumn, and those stalwart lawmen, Texas Ranger Emmitt Maverick and Special Agent Christoph Edison. Revisit all the eccentric and peculiar residents of that small east Texas hamlet we know and love and, along the way, meet some new faces.

Another full moon has already begun to rise....

Great Story Narration Not So Much

I was conflicted on this review because the story is really great and kept me engaged but the narration made me want to scream and I found myself just wanting it to be over. I love a good thriller and following Autumn had me reeling seriously it was insane but I really struggled through this with the narration being drab. I think Michael delivered a great tale but the narrator does not seem engaged. It sounded robotic and left me wondering if the narrator read the book. Did she like it? What was the issue with channeling the characters? Overall all the story is worth it I just would enjoyed it more in ebook. I was given this book in exchange for a honest review and have provided my true feelings on the audiobook.

Interesting

I was provided this review copy audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Overall I found the story interesting. Some of the back story would be an interesting story on its on. It was a good follow up to the first book.

I did find it a bit difficult to follow. The plot seemed to jump randomly from place to place without much warning. I had to rewind in several places because I thought I had missed something.

Other than the flow of the book being a bit choppy, its a quick, fun, camp fire type story to listen to.
