Very Helpful

I'm a father of four. One is out of college, one is starting college, one is a senior in high school and one will be starting high school. this book brought back many fond memories and some I wanted to forget LOL. Every parent will make mistakes and it's different for everyone but having a book like this will defiantly help navigate and prepare you for what's coming. I'll be giving this to my kids when they have their first and hopefully they will have an easier time than learning as you go like I did.

Very Helpful Book!!

There are a lot of mom-to-be books but not as many dad books. I am glad I came across this book! I loved that it not only covered during pregnancy but during the first year as well. My partner is now more confident.

When I was pregnant with my first, my partner and I were researching everywhere! It was hard to piece all the information we were getting into something that made sense. This book takes all the helpful information and puts it neatly into a book that is easy to follow and understand. It really is an all-in-one resource for dads.

I would recommend it!

Incredible resource for new dads!

Invaluable information for new dads in this exciting and daunting world of parenting a newborn child for the very first time. This audiobook covers every single aspect not only of the pregnancy but the how-to’s when the baby arrives and beyond. It is a great resource as every single question you can think of is answered here. I also love that it gives great tips on how to tackle the challenges together and the emotional bonds of parenting you share with your partner as new parents. I highly recommend it!

Dad's need a book, too!

I loved everything about this perspective. I have personally purchased, "What to Expect..." for personal reasons and thoroughly enjoyed the tone, language and angle of this book for men. I particularly appreciated the special tips, such as controlling ones anger, having a softer touch and things he can do to support his mate. A focus of understanding what is going behind the why and that not everything is black and white and has an easy answer. Nothing is black and white when it comes to the emotional, psychological and physical changes his mate is going through. I would definitely recommend this book to my Dad-To-Be buddies!

interesting listen, good narration

I got this book for a nephew who is expecting his first child.
Back when I was a new father myself I was scared, and excited all at the same time.
This book literally goes through all emotions and how to deal with them.
They’re aren’t many books like this to show new dads skills they need to learn.
This book is an excellent guide for new dads.
I recommend this audiobook.

Easy to retain

I like this book because it was very easy to retain. My favorite part is the team work makes dream work. This is such an important part in parenting and the author gave several tips to improve or begin to make this work.

In addition to parenting your child, it gives you several safety tips and things to avoid as well as marriage advices. I highly recommend this book for all Fathers out there.

Dad's Don't Panic, Mistakes are Learning Lessons!

I can imagine a lot of dads have the fear of making a mistake with a newborn, especially when it is their first child. I appreciate this book breaking down not only the common mistakes that can happen with a newborn baby but also during pregnancy. Like the rest of us in life, we have to muddle through with no manual or guide that show's us the right thing to do 24/7. This audiobook though, works at putting a lot of fears at ease and answers question fathers wouldn't even be able to ask. Would highly recommend to first-time dads!
