About this listen

What is the Bachelors Club? It’s a gentleman’s club - like the dignified men of the past used to have. Except, we’re not gentlemen, and we’re not dignified.

We’re ineligible bachelors, bored, jaded and not looking for relationships. Quite the opposite actually. So committed to being single, we’ve created a high-stakes bet to see who can remain single the longest....

Four days cohabitating in a shared work space shouldn’t be a big deal. It shouldn’t be distracting. But Spencer Standish saw me puking in a company trash can and won’t let me live it down. Cheerful, aggravating Spencer, who wants me to fetch her coffee. As if she’s the boss of me. And now I’m stuck sharing her office.

Let’s face facts: I can’t be in a relationship; not when there’s a bet to win - not with Spencer, who loves my uncontrollable basset hound, lazy Sundays, and grilled cheese as much as I do. I refuse to fall for her.

I will be the last bachelor standing.

Very immature!!!!

I loved the first book. Had just the right amount of immaturity but this one… it’s like two middle schoolers! And could have at least an extra epilogue about the third member of the group! There is no book about him.

A little immature

I'm a fan of Sara Ney's college books- they are funny with a bit of heart. I've listened to both of the Bachelors Club books and these are supposed to be men- adults- in the working world. Well, these guys? They are pretty immature and in my opinion, I felt like their actions were less amusing given their adulthood. Sigh. But if you can get over that idea, then it was a cute story. Phillip, one of the Bachelor club, meets a coworker, Spencer, when he was busy determining whether to eat a bagel with sketchy (expired) cream cheese. He does, immediately throws up and she decides to use it as some blackmail material? But I have to say that I didn't think this particular part of the story went anywhere. Then they have to work in the same office together so they get closer. There's cute banter and obviously, some attraction that eventual leads Phillip to worry about whether he will lose the bet.

The audiobook was narrated by Grace Grant and Gregory Salinas. They were good. I thought Grace Grant's male voice was a bit weaker but overall, it was an easy listen.

Nothing wrong with it but nothing great about it either

Plot is kind of thin & not my favorite narrators but overall, I didn’t hate it. 1st book was better.

Fun Office Romance

This is a fun and sweet story about finding love at work.
Standalone with no Cliffhangers.
Neither where looking for love but they found it.
Spencer is a fun loving woman who has to share her office for a week. Who knew the grumpy guy would become so much more.
Phillip can't afford to fall for his hot, sweet, food sharing office mate. He has a bet to win.
Great banter, it has me laughing out loud.
