About this listen

Dear Mister...no, too formal.

Hey there sweet cheeks....no, too forward

*Clears throat*

To whom it may concern,

Full disclosure: Before we move forward with this email, I would like it to be known that I have consumed an adequate amount of alcoholic beverages to intoxicate myself tonight. Three margaritas, two shots, and one beer - because it was free.

I think it's important to be open and honest with your coworkers, don't you?

So here I am, being open and honest. Drunk but honest. Or just drunk with lust? You decide.

I have a hopeless, foolish schoolgirl crush on you when you are the last person on earth I should be falling for. Did you know people around the office call you a sadist? An egomaniac. An insensitive, arrogant prick. But what they don't know is your bark is worse than your bite. And that bite doesn't scare me. The fact is, I'd love that bite of yours to nip at my bare skin while we're both wearing nothing but sheets.

For once I want you to look at me as more than one of your employees.

And as long as we're being honest, that navy blue suit you wear? With the crisp white shirt? It really makes me want to loosen your tie and show you exactly who's boss.

Love,

Sincerely,

Yours

Loved the story

Sara Ney and Meghan Quinn had me from the first to the last chapter; a great book and one I loved.
Having read both Sara Ney and Meghan Quinn individually and loved their writing I just knew that together they would produce something amazing and they most certainly did.
An office romance, but oh what a romance. I laughed so much I was in danger of passing out; I was totally invested from the start.
This is a great example of romantic comedy and the slow burn was so worth it as when it came to a climax, oh boy! Rome was totally swoon worthy and had me sighing on numerous occasions and Peyton, well I just loved them both.
Put simply it made me smile and happy and generally feel good.
Having read the book, I couldn't wait for the audio. Whilst I really enjoyed it and the narration was great I was a tad let down when the male narrator voiced the female part in the chapters and vice a versa..

To whom it may concern!

This was such a cute story. There is a build up to the feelings that they start to feel for each other. I laughed a lot during this story and enjoyed the back and forth with the characters. I enjoyed both narrator's. I seen some reviews about the Male narrator, but I am a fan of his and love his voice. The female narrator did awesome as well. If you are in the mood for a funny and sweet love match this is it!

Decent story line.

I had an extremely had time getting past the male narrator. His impressions of women’s voices was cartoonish but the story it’s self isn’t bad. When you’ve listened to books narrated by Jason Clarke, Sebastian York, Zachary Webber, and Joe Arden, it is a bit difficult to listen to subpar voice acting

Story Took Some time to get Good

I enjoyed the rom-com humor and banter between Payton and Rome once the story got more personal between them but it took till almost the end of the book before the chemistry and sexual tension cane through for me.
I did not enjoy the male narrator speaking the female parts he sounded like Minnie Mouse without a brain. Which made the female character sound ridiculous.
The female character was on and she did a decent job speaking the male parts. I wish they had found a female narrator that sounded a bit older. The character is 30 but the female narrator sounded like she was 19.
I think I should have stuck with reading the story.
I don’t think I’ll listen to any other books narrated by the male narrator again he just ruins the female POV
Listen with caution.

Cute

I love Ava Erickson- she actually sounds like the age she is depicting unlike many other female narrators. Alexander Cendese was not my favorite, he sounded like he was shouting in CAPS when reading and was painful for the female parts. The story was cute, gave a little bit of Three Dates vibes and you’ve got mail with a few other tropes woven in. Overall, a cute and quick listen with not much of a climax which honestly was fine with me.

This is a cute and easy listen, no angst or real drama. It was a little slow for me but overall enjoyable and funny. the narration was really good! love both of these narrators.

OKAY...

I read the entire book. I mean, I didn’t skip any chapters, which is my go to for books that are just..okay. The narration was kind of “fun” to listen to and I loved Hunters character (the best friend). Alexander Cendese sounds like he’s on speed while he’s reading, but it works. Lots of, in their head, monologue, and no actual sex scenes. It was, again, an easy, “OKAY” book.

4 stars! Loved

Two of my favorite narrators performed this one so well! Such an easy and enjoyable book! Laugh out loud moments, a dash of sexual tension and no unnecessary drama!
