Publisher's summary

The past never stays buried

Anna Albertini is settling into a routine while ignoring the fact that the blue-eyed Irishman she’d allowed into her bed has up and disappeared on her. Two weeks without a phone call is no big deal, but still. With her hottie Italian boss goofing up the prosecuting attorney’s office, she at least has something to fix. Until she appears in court, across from her sister Tessa’s dirtbag ex. Then she has a mission.

Unfortunately, Anna isn’t the only person who wants the ex put behind bars...or in the ground. Which is not a problem until she and a local cop find the ex-boyfriend deader than dead...with both her sister and Aiden standing over the body.

As a prosecuting attorney, it’s Anna’s job to build a case against Tessa and Aiden. As a sister, it’s SO her job to get Tess out of this mess. As Aiden’s…what? Lover - girlfriend - friend from the past - it’s Anna’s job to figure out who the heck he really is. She has to dig out the truth, regardless of her ambitious boss or the cranky cop trying to thwart her every move. Sometimes a woman has to take matters into her own hands, regardless of the consequences.

An excellent continuation of Anna's story. I liked that many of the loose ends from the first story were tied up here and therehas been some resolution to what was going on with Aiden. There were a few times I wondered about Anna as she blatantly ignored her legal responsibilities to 'help' her sister, which didn't help her at all. In any case she is a character. I'm off to the next story.

Stella Bloom did another excellent job.

Such a fun series!

Bailed Out was wildly entertaining!! This had me laughing out loud throughout the whole book. The funeral scene had me in tears, and not sad ones! Honestly, this is the kind of series that I absolutely love. It's a continuous series that focuses on one couple with many fantastic side characters. Each and every character you get introduced too made an impact in the book.

Anna is such a wonderful heroine. She's this weird mix of innocence with a moral compass but also a spitfire, gutsy and brave. She's not afraid to stand up for what's right. This is what gets her into so much trouble. She can't sit idle when she can go out and do something to help a person out. It doesn't even matter who that person is. She seems to evoke that protective instinct in others but it's funny to see that men are also very leery of the trouble she always seems to cause.

Aiden is just delicious. He's that bad boy good girls are drawn too with the dark looks, grumbly attitude, but also very protective. You just can't resist him. He's very mysterious for most of books 1 and 2 which adds to his appeal. Now that we get more information on him, he's actually more appealing. I love him for Anna.

I really can't wait for the next book in the series. I can't wait to see what more mischief Anna will get herself in and how Aiden and her friends will help protect her. This is a very fun series.

Entertaining with a lot of action

The first two Anna Albertini stories are very enjoyable and captivating. There are no slow spots and lots of surprises. Well worth the time. Great narration.

Ohhh Anna!! You’re a handful!

Absolutely loved the second book in The Albertini Files series! Anna is getting in the middle of trouble again... She's a legal magnet for those in trouble and crime in general. Her relationship with the hot but questionable biker club leader Aiden has her job and reputation in jeopardy. It may come to her lover or her sister when a murder is thrown into the mix. The good: The supporting characters and cast are fantastic. Lots of action, mystery and typical Anna craziness. She is a curious little legal eagle... It gets her into trouble, a lot! The not so good: She selfishly pulls her friends into the trouble too, with consequences. I really am not a fan of all the physical abuse the female characters endured in this tale. I was late to the party since I waited for the audiobook version to release, but it was soooo good. Aiden's Irish accent, hmmm nice! This would absolutely make a great TV / Netflix series as soon as we get a few more books.

🌻I’d love to borrow some of Anna’s luck!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I’m really liking this Series. It’s very different from a lot of RZ’s series, in that there is no paranormal twist or characters with outstanding psychic gifts; with the exception of reading of auras, cards and such. With that being said, the Heroine has both the worst and best luck. She always seems to find herself stuck in the middle of some criminal mess. However, she also seems to find her way clear and alive! Yes, it’s not that realistic but, any action story with a Hero or Heroine always ends with them overcoming unbelievable odds; otherwise the series would end, right?

This book also answers some of the questions about Aiden’s(The hero and Anna’s love interest) truths. This book also includes a career change, for the Heroine, that will allow her more autonomy in her career. I’m sure this will ensure even more exciting adventures, in the future.

Be aware that there are scenes of violence towards women, in this story, along with open discussions of swapping sexual partners and other liberal sexual practices that some may find upsetting; although there are no descriptions of individual instances.

I always get impatient, when I discover a brand new series of interest, because I am impatient for the next release. I much prefer discovering a hidden gem that I can devour one book after another. 🙁

Loved it!

I can’t wait till I get to read more Anna Albertini. Book 3 can’t come out soon enough. And Stella Bloom will always be one of my most favorite narrators.
