About this listen

Connor Vincent. Gifted artist. A beautiful liar with the soul of a poet. The cunning thief who stole my heart. And an addict.

Once upon a time, my foolish heart believed that my love could fix him. How very wrong I was.

We soared to the greatest heights and crashed to the lowest depths. Starting over wasn't possible.

Yet here he was, heart in hand, asking for another chance. Only a fool would agree. But when it comes to Connor, I've always been a fool.

No more secrets. No more lies. They say that truth is beauty . . . they're lying.

Contains mature themes.

Great story, eh narrators

the story was really good. lots of emotion. I don't think this is necessarily a stand alone but I was able to follow along. the narrators were eh. I love Jf Harding but his performance was very bland. I've heard him give much more emotional and varried performances before so I don't know what was up with this one. Stephanie Kay was kind of annoying. not a lot of voice variation, just some people were louder. I really liked the realism of addiction and how he struggled with cravings. I like how people held him accountable and he really had to work for their trust. this was well written. some spots needed more details but overall i liked this book. I do recommend.
